After a lot of researching and reading reviews we booked our visit to Hamilton Island staying at Beach Club. I don’t know what has taken us so long to find this gem! We absolutely loved staying here. The location is perfect, the service was fantastic (shout out to Oli who was awesome), the room was amazing and the food and cocktails were great. Waking up to the sunrise and the best breakfast you could imagine was a treat. We loved being right on the beach and the infinity pool, which I believe was heated, was beautiful. I loved the Aesop products, the drink bottles and the champagne they left for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary there. I found the team here to be really friendly and engaging with the guests. Most were travellers but obviously used to working in hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. The only criticism I have, which is not Beach Club specific, is the beer list everywhere on the island is very limited with no craft beers. Lucky my hubby loves Stone & Wood! We did hire a buggy even though it wasn’t really needed but we enjoyed having the freedom to explore when and where we wanted. If you’re trying to decide whether to book or not, do it - you won’t regret it!

As you can see from the numerous reviews already, there isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said about this wonderful place. It's the furthest away from home (UK) that I've ever been, and is worth the behemoth of the journey if you're visiting Australia. The beautiful Whitsunday Islands and the inhabited Hamilton Island itself are still largely untouched, and the Beach Club is a little piece of paradise surrounded by all of it. You're picked up at the airport by a personal shuttle and given an explanation of the amenities on the island by your host.
The entire island is connected, and you can call for a shuttle to collect you from anywhere. We had an early flight in so our room wasn't available but the hosts were happy to supply appetizers and free drinks while you wait. Once checked in, everything can be billed to your room including the aforementioned anywhere, all you have to do is sign a piece of paper once you tell them where you're staying!
I quickly realised I had, without knowing at first, that I had booked the best hotel on the island. Compared to the other hotels and vacation homes, everything is private to Beach Club residents. This includes the entire beach area at the back of the area, and of course, the beautiful infinity pool. There are no children allowed at the Beach Club.
The food each evening, is amazing. It's explained to you what it is and what's in it, fantastic service from the staff on hand and a large selection of cocktails and wines to compliment your meal.
We were lucky enough to extend our stay by one extra day, staying in the most comfortable room, listening to tropical rain each night and the waves in the morning. I could live there tomorrow and never look back. Activity wise, everything that you can do within the entire Whitsunday area can be booked through reception.
Not to mention the natives, sulphur crested cockatoos, are hilariously friendly and hugely entertaining as they land on your balcony or peek into your room. They're everywhere on the island so matter where you go, they're following! Mind your fingers and your food, they will eat what you can't finish and not pay the bill!
At the end of our stay, we were taken back to the airport in our shuttle by the manager of the Beach Club, who thanks you for staying and choosing his hotel. It's a great personal touch and does make you aware of just how much pride and effort has gone into making the Beach Club truly spectacular.

We stayed here for 4 nights for my 40th birthday. I don't even know where to start but WOW, The Beach club is amazing. From the moment we landed at the airport we were shown into a luxury van to take us straight to the Hotel - they even collected our luggage. Once at the hotel we were greeted with champagne and canapes, whilst running through the facilities available. Our luggage was placed in our room and we were welcomed by a bottle of champagne and a perfect view of the ocean. Every single staff member was friendly welcoming and more than happy to go above and beyond. Our room was almost always made-up whilst we were at breakfast, so it was fresh and clean when we got back. The meals were delicious and always served with a smile. The pool is so peaceful and relaxing, the only sound is the staff asking if you would like another cocktail. There is not one thing that we could fault and will absolutely be back soon.

Had a lovely stay at Beach Club - where they've provided great service and nice touches during the stay. Pool service was attentive...and one day they brought around complimentary ice cream at the pool.
The room was a good size with a gorgeous view. Housekeeping was excellent. There was free sparkling and filtered still water available at all times.
Breakfast was a little underwhelming...but the view makes up for it. It was a great adults-only experience.

From the time my wife and I arrived to departing was amazing. A staff member greeted us at the tiny airport, our luggage was collected and the next time we saw it was in our rooms. We agree with all the other complimentary comments made by other guests. The entire island seems to operate like one big family – a waiter in a restaurant one night ends up serving you breakfast in your hotel another day, a novel idea to keep switching staff around to different establishments. Would love to say we’ll be back soon but it’s 9,800 miles away from where we live!

We very much enjoyed our honeymoon at the Beach Club, staying for 8 nights. The staff and service were fantastic, including when we needed to postpone, and it was the ideal location for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We loved relaxing by the pool overlooking the beach, and swimming in the infinity pool. The restaurant is fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ate there, and the included breakfast was delicious with the staff happy to adjust menu items and cater to our every request. Our room had an incredible view of the beach and palm trees and the service was excellent. We particularly appreciated fresh beach towels constantly being provided, including during turn down if they had been used. The transport service was also really helpful, with the staff happy to drop us wherever we wanted on the island. Our room was lovely, the only concern being the mattress not being particularly comfortable and in need of being changed (clear sag spots where people lie). The wardrobe also smelled like smoke throughout our stay (transferring to our clothes) which was very strange in a non-smoking room. Overall, we had an amazing stay with a picturesque location, wonderful service and attentive staff. The manager even remembered specifics about us! Would highly recommend choosing the beach club for your Hamilton Island accommodation.

Well where to start The Beach Club is our first preference for accommodation on Hamilton Island. The rooms are spectacularly the interior is a little old but still clean and tidy the other problem is the timber floors are clean every day but the floor squeaks as you walk around in the room ( and can i say next doors do also LOL). The hotel makes it everything easy. There’s no need for buggy hire as the staff will drive you anywhere on the island. The private pool has incredible views over Catseye Beach and there is food and drink service around the pool and on the beach. It’s nice and quiet away from the families using the main pools. The location is also handy if you are wanting to do water activities or hike the many walking trails. Breakfast is included in the rate and the food is excellent. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable; request an upstairs room for the view, or a ground floor room to be able to walk straight out onto the beach. The little touches are perfect, like Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms and turn down service complete with chocolate on the pillows. A lovely place to stay if you are looking to truly relax. Just had an amazing 5 days at Beach Club. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the staff and the service. They were just fantastic. We did not meet a single staff member that wasn't friendly or smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. Some of the inclusions we really appreciated were the breakfasts (lovely to have barista made coffee and a la carte breakfast options as an inclusion, without any sneaky extras) and the VIP transfers to anywhere on the island, anytime. The dinner we had at the restaurant was superb - my husband had the lamb and I had the fish and honestly, we both rave about the quality of that meal, the best we had on the island. It was also my husband's birthday and the staff organised a gorgeous dessert with amazing chocolate greeting in writing. We had a ground floor room and it was fantastic to sit in the courtyard and watch the wallabies on the grass out the front, while being literally 20 steps from the sand. The infinity pool is stunning and the snack menu for the pool area was fabulous. So the staff and the service pushed this review up to 5 stars. In terms of the building, there is a little air of "I need refurbishment" about the building and the rooms .. if the service wasn't so great I would have said these rooms were not worth the money we paid, in terms of their appointment and function (old clunky doors, chipped old wooden furniture in the courtyard, bird poo on table and courtyard floor, door tracks that really needed a deep clean, very dark and dank bathroom). I would stay there again for sure because of the experience, not the room itself. Heads up - the housekeepers come by pretty early (well early by holiday standards) so put your "do not disturb" sign out if you want to have a sleep in. Overall definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Our experience was amazing. How it all runs like clockwork from being picked up at the Airport (they collect your bags), to the check in experience. It's a great hotel.
The rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained. The view of the beach was amazing. We actually slept with the doors open and the shutters locked so we could hear the sea while getting to sleep. It was so relaxing. They have what looked like wallaby's just roaming the grounds one had a Joey, so cute and lovely to see especially for us coming from the UK.
Sherin Schmitz was amazing, all the staff are very good. We didn't experience any poor service at the hotel.
My husband has food intolerances, and they were happy to call the other restaurants on the Island to notify them of his issues. They also provided special milk at Breakfast for him and in our room.
We did have an issue with Hamilton Air while we stayed at this hotel, it was a shame to have the support of the staff at the Beach Club on the day but the PR department at Hamilton Enterprises wouldn't support us with our complaint of Hamilton Air, so I think it would put me off going back.
We really enjoyed our time at the Beach Club hotel.

Everything was done online at the time of booking. We submitted arrival times and departure times at a later date. All was good. you will have a wonderful time there as the staff are amazing.
