My wife and I don't visit many places twice... but would definitely visit the beach club again.
Accommodation is great, food is top notch but what makes this place so fantastic is the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional and couldn't do enough to help.
Having just spent a wonderful week at the Beach Club on Hamilton Island I feel I must write a review From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so well looked after by the wonderful staff. Nothing was a problem for them All...More
The Beach Club was one of the most relaxing places you can stay. We loved the fact that it is the only resort on Cateye beach and it is for adults only. They provide 24 car service if required the staff were amazing and couldn't...More
The Beach Club is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, not because it is a huge resort with loads of facilities (because it really isn't) but because of the excellent customer service provided by the hotel staff and the perks included in...More
First, let me say we enjoyed our time at Beach Club Hamilton Island it’s a nicely located boutique property, recently renovated with a lovely infinity pool on Catseye Beach. Rooms are a nice “studio size” and the amenities are beautiful Aseop products.

Hello I was on Hayman Island when the cyclone hit. I consider myself lucky to be alive, thanks to all the staff at The One and Only resort. I did stay at the Beachclub a couple of days prior to the cyclone. The whole of the Whitsundays have sustained considerable damage. Most of the lush tropical vegetation was flattened I saw Hamilton Island on the Thursday post cyclone and it was greatly effected.
The Staff at the Beachclub will no dought look after you as they are wonderful but will you get a tropical holiday experience that includes all the lovely fauna and flora I am not so sure.
In my opinion It will take a year or so to be back to it's fabulous state.
Possibly the water sports have been effected if the resort lost sails to their catamarans etc, it may be worth asking the resort what's not up and running.
There is also the possibility that the outer reef platoon has also been damaged, as no visit to the wonderful Barrier Reef should be missed, I would also ask the resort if visits to the outer reef and snorkelling are still available.
Hope this helps.
