Great location and awesome pools. Our villa was comfortable and well equipped. The restaurants had a heavy deep fried slant to the menus. Very limited vegetarian options a reminder we're in regional Queensland. All in all would be back. We recommend the night tour and ranger jay.

To me, this resort provides a way of enjoying the Fraser Island experience for those who don't own a 4WD vehicle or don't enjoy camping. It is clean and comfortable and extremely well organised considering the amount of people that come through the front doors. Our rooms overlooked what we referred to as Shrek's swamp but to be honest, we...

Very disappointed when I was told my room was ready at 4.30pm, check in at 2pm, had been on Fraser Island since 10am and found the room had stripped beds and dirty linen on the floor. Reception did not answer the phone so I had to take my luggage back to the car and drive back to reception and was...

Our day - casual breakfast followed by walk, usually along beach, a read on balcony then afternoon by pool swimming more reading. A drink at jetty watching sunset, casual dinner at sand bar. Also loved our beauty spot tour. Enjoyed the resort, surrounded by nature all very relaxing.

The resort is good in general. Nice breakfast buffet but the table was not well cleaned. room is ok. Most staff was nice but one of them was not friendly (e.g. with angry face during the whole period when I was just asking questions and only smile after I made booking for the tour. And she even booked me into...

Highlight was the day tour with driver Steve. His knowledge, pace, and humour, as well as driving ability was exceptional. We also took the option of a light aircraft flight over this wonderful Island. This is also highly recommended. lake McKenzie is unique and of great beauty. Lovely swimming and fine beach. We were welcomed by friendly, dedicated staff wherever...

Over valued, you are a captive audience. The restaurant's; the Maheno the food was very average for a hefty price. Nothing special. The sandbar was typical Pub food still expensive for what you got. The rooms were a little tired and the cleaning not up to scratch. Considering you are paying a five star price. The pool area was lovely...
