Great place to stay with very friendly staff & in a top location. We met up with some friends & continued over to the east side of Fraser Island where we stayed at Happy Valley. Kingfisher Resort was a good place to stay & relax before our adventure. Will definitely return & hope to stay a bit longer next time.

Fraser Island is such a beautiful place. We found the hotel rooms at Kingfisher Bay to be good. The whole resort is family friendly with a large swimming pool. The only two issues we had were. 1. We could not open the dividing door between our hotel rooms as we were in two rooms for 4 people. When we went...

My family and I could not have enjoyed a more enjoyable, more relaxing, more inspiring experience on Fraser Island thanks to our amazing house accommodation on Sunset Beach and the friendly, professional & hospitable team at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

The resort is in a special location. It is a great way to get a glimpse of Fraser Island as well have a genuine relax in comfort. Really enjoyed our ranger walk and evenings on the beach and watching sunsets.

Good facilities good service good location and good all round experience. A bit overpriced how ever in all areas. This includes meals, accomodation, ferry, drinks, activities. Would not go again at the prices charged.

Good facilities for the family. Villa funtions well but it was outdated. Depands where the villa is located, it can be a bit walk to the main building where all the facilities were. Nice walks around the resort but you need to ask the reception for the map. There were some ranger tours but you all need to pay.

Resort didn't live up to a Mercure standard. Staffing levels poor resulting in tables being left uncleaned. Paid ranger guided walks not worth the money as too many in group and didn't really see alot. However, went to see Fraser Island not the resort. Fraser Island lived up to expectations. A beautiful island to visit and explore.

For the price, I expected a higher level of cleanliness. Also, the pool area was filled with empty bottles and apparently unsupervised ratbag kids flouting the rules. A staff member or two to enforce the pool rules and clean up a bit during peak times would be handy.

Such a beautiful part of Queensland. Pristine and so well managed. The Kingfisher Bay Eco Resort is just so well planned. We stayed four years ago as well and will certainly return. Highly recommend the all day Beauty Spots tour in the four-wheel drive bus from the Resort. We swam in the Great Sandy Strait each day.

This would not be considered a Mercure/Accor high quality resort. No wonder they try and hide their association.Four star is absurd. But many of the reviews are over savage and more are ' overly positive'. There are clearly logistic and staffing issues but, in the main, it works. The rooms are fair but the bathrooms are very ordinary. The pools need...
