We stayed 9 nights and really enjoyed the resort and the island. The bushwalking is good, the beaches are beautiful and it was great to put our feet up an unwind. Can't understand why you'd only stay an afternoon or overnight in this beautiful spot.

WORST RESORT IN AUSTRALIA What an appalling overpriced Resort this is. My wife and 2 children stayed in one of the hotel Villas, looks as though it was fitted out in the 1980’s and little else has changed! We sampled all the restaurants and the...More

Don't bother staying here. Save your money and stay in Hervey Bay. This place is so over priced and the service so under par it's pathetic. For each good thing this resort has or offers there's a list as long as your arm of negatives....More

the beach where the barge docks is nice and calm, great for the kids. that's about a 5-10 minute walk. Main surf beach (where swimming isn't recommended) is on the other side. You'll need a 4wd to access this beach.

I don’t know about “everything” but if you book on the tour it would probably cover most. We had our own transport so could please ourselves. There are walks as well and water activities. It depends what you want to do.
