Great location and friendly staff but the hotel room we stayed in was very old, uncomfortable and aircon didn’t work properly plus bath tub was too low for any adult to enjoy. It’s in need of a major upgrade and overpriced. We switched to a Villa which was much more modern and comfortable.

Overall the trip was pretty good, villas were really nice apart from the dirty water in the spa, not the nicest when you have a 2 year old playing in there. Water pressure was very average. Maybe the villas could have a water tank and pump on each in the future as I noticed the roofs had no gutters to collect rain water, could be a good water saving measure in the future as we had a couple big downpours whilst there. Facilities were good, just needed to be a little cleaner couches felt dirty. Pool was being upgraded and no one knew when it was going to be open, bit of a debacle when trying to occupy a 2 year old and planned our morning by the pool. Bit more communication amongst hotel staff and holidayers can be better, as there was no notice as to the pool being closed prior to booking. Overall a good getaway spot and family friendly place to stay, just a few minor things need to be adjusted in future.

The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the balcony was private. There could be more amenities in the room to help you make a breakfast, as the hotel breakfast is quite expensive, especially if you are a large family. All of the staff are approachable and very helpful. There is a great option to opt out of room cleaning every day and save some money from your final bill. We will definitely be back.

This truly is paradise as the traditional name K'gari means. Very private rooms. Great facilities. Even better if you have your own 4x4 as tours can soon add up. Annual anniversary trip for us. The natural beauty of the surroundings really make for a happy stay. Friendly courteous staff. Always hate leaving.
