The most amazing experience. We had 2 nights in the Tree Tops Villa and then 4 nights in the BeachHhouse. Both were outstanding. Tree tops had superb views over the beach in a split level design and the Beach House was actually two story and a few steps from the water. We have booked again for June for the Beach...

This was perfect for a short very relaxed escape. The facilities are superb and impeccably maintained and the food/wine service Michelin star-worthy. The staff are relaxed, fun, professional and all people you'd want to have a glass of wine with. Even when telling me they couldn't accommodate a snorkeling trip they were so nice about it I wasn't terribly upset....

There aren't enough superlatives in the world to describe Bedarra Island! It's just perfection! From the moment we arrived at the office in Mission Beach the service was absolutely flawless. The helicopter ride was spectacular, albeit a short trip, but totally worth it. The food on the island was great and so much of it! I don't think we stopped eating...

If you love laid back luxury this is your place. There is no pretentious atmosphere but you're made to feel special so we loved this place. Our villa looked over the beach and ocean and if you are a nature lover you will love Bedarra. The food is amazing and the wine and cocktails are endless (after a week we...

Bedarra is a phenomenal place. We absolutely loved our time there. We were looking for a place in the Great Barrier Reef to stay and stumbled across Bedarra. I feel so fortunate to have experienced this...although it is pricey (and we debated for awhile if we wanted to pony up and pay for it), it is so worth it. The...

My partner and I stayed 4 nights at Bedarra as part of our Honeymoon in the Villa North-East. The whole experience was absolutely faultless, the staff, food, wine, room and resort as a whole. Thinking back now it seriously feels like a dream! We were hesitant at first to spend so much money, but we didn't regret a single dollar...

We found Bedarra for our idyllic honeymoon island getaway, it was that and much, much more. This place is unique and special for a lot of reasons: the natural beauty of the island, ultimate seclusion thru limited capacity, true 5 star service and food, relaxed style of luxury, a litany of nearby private islands for exploration, Great Barrier Reef access,...

We LOVED our stay. Super relaxing and just a beautiful place. The staff are amazing, attentive, friendly and caring. The food is EXCEPTIONAL! I loved the fact that there were paddle boards, kayaks and gear at our disposal at any time. The island picnic is fun and a real adventure. Anchor your boat properly or you'll need to get rescued...

Recently back from spending 5 nights at Bedarra for our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have found a better place to celebrate than Bedarra. We stayed in the Point - which had the most amazing views, located right on the beach, relaxing day bed and perfect sized plunge pool. No need to worry about air conditioning as the breeze from...

Nestled amongst a backdrop of secluded hidden bays, majestic granite boulders, white sandy beaches, and towering coconut Bedarra Island is the ultimate definition of barefoot luxury. With just seven private villas, each with uninterrupted ocean views, this all inclusive sustainable island resort will ensure you find yourself in a sanctuary of complete solace and seclusion as you explore the tropical rainforest, beautiful beaches and fringing reefs. Our Executive Chef prepares gourmet meals daily and local produce and tropical fruits are a feature of our ever changing menu. The open terrace restaurant, bar and lounge are the heart and soul of Bedarra, where guests converge over a delicious and ever-changing menu, or to indulge at the legendary open bar. An exquisite menu is matched only by the sublime beauty of deserted beaches fringed by lush rainforest. Find your own table for two on the pool deck or terrace for an intimate dining experience or join the Long Table for a dinner party style congregation with your fellow guests and resort host.Although our ethos remains centred on relaxation, we do offer a number of less sedentary activities including kayaking, stand up paddle boards, snorkelling, fishing, tennis and self-guided interactive walks through the verdant rainforest. For the more adventurous and at an additional fee we can arrange deep sea fishing, scuba-diving, and scenic helicopter flights. We pride ourselves on offering each guest a unique experience. Whether it be a candlelit dinner for two on our private deck under the starry night, packing a gourmet hamper in your own dinghy for a romantic picnic on one of the nearby deserted islands, or booking the entire resort with a group of friends or family for a bespoke tropical island experience you will remember forever. Bedarra is situated seven kilometres off the coast of Mission Beach, Tropical North Queensland (approximately 140km south of Cairns). Scenic 35 minute heli-transfers are available from Cairns airport directly to our beachside heli-pad.
