You get what you pay for. We luckily had our car so any valuables were kept in there. We didn't feel like the place was secure, in fact it felt like being in a slum area. Anybody could walk off the street, especially once reception closes. The whole downstairs area - lounge and kitchen - is left open and accessible...

This is easily the worst hostel I stayed in the 2 months I've been in Australia! The whole place felt really unsecure as anyone could just walk in off the street, and the doors on the rooms looked like they would give way with a push! The rooms were big but nothing was in them so felt really weird, the...

I only planned to stay a night or two but ended up staying for a week. Its a cool hostel. Really friendly staff, clean, great showers, fridge in each room, big kitchen, pool table... but the best thing is the pool and decking area. Its cleaned regularly (had a chat with the pool cleaner today) and just has a really...

Room was clean and tidy. Lovely big kitchen. Helpful staff. Fridge in room was broken. All in all value for money. It is about a 10 minute walk to town where there are very nice shops and a couple of colonial buildings. Waterfront is very beautiful near the hostel where there are a couple of museums. There is a vending...

We stayed here from 29th of June till 6th of July 2015. The Hostel is very loud and there's a lot of noise and loud people at night. We couldn't sleep most of the week because of the noise that came from downstairs. Then the one night (saturdaynight) when people went to the pub or something, we decided to play...

Been here for over a week and never been more glad to see the back of a place! Yes the sheets were clean but thats about it! Think the bathrooms and toilets got cleaned once during my stay! An whilst they advertise as having a kitchen you can use there is conditions, like if you need to use any pots...

ive been travelling through Australia for a month now and this place is the worst I've stayed in. The rooms are just that, rooms. The floor is concrete and the bunk beds are uncomfortable and feel unsafe if you're sleeping underneath. The shower was cold. The whole place has a motel feel with some people there who do not appear...

Really liked this hostel, very chilled whith a lovely pool. The rooms were very clean and looked after with our own fridge. The kitchen was massive and easily the nicest one we have come across in a hostel (Most are very grubby). There is a spacious TV lounge with games, play station and pool table. Were disappointed there was no...

This hostel is really big! But is it not that great. The dorm rooms are not clean, and the fridge is not turned on when you arrive. The lock to the dorm rooms are not secure. There is not security at all actually, the reception is closing early, so the late check-in keys are hanging on a wall, and EVERYONE...

“Ask for room near bathrooms, toilets by the pool as well. Rooms on the side of the water are the quietest.”

“If there are two of you travelling the double rooms only cost $27.50 per person which is only $3.50 more than a dorm room, therefore I would recommend this option as they are nice rooms.”
