The Paradise Centre Apartments Surfers Paradise is praised for its central location, which offers easy access to the beach and nearby shops, although some guests mention noise as a downside. Its clean, spacious rooms with impressive views and a range of amenities, including pools and gyms, receive commendations from many travelers. While opinions on value and room policies are mixed, the friendly and helpful staff contribute to the inviting and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel. However, attention to certain cleaning and maintenance details could enhance the overall experience.

Family of four (2A and 2 teens) stayed in 2 bedroom executive apartment for 2 nights. Booked online through Mantra’s website and I originally requested to stay at the Allunga building but when checked in I was told this was booked out and we got room 1402 in Ballah building instead.

Overall, I was happy with the apartment. So much room for us. Main bedroom had a king bed, walk-in wardrobe to get through ensuite (partially renovated). 2nd bedroom had a single bed and double bed. Then a main bathroom which was fully renovated and small laundry room (with washer and dryer). Kitchen was modern and had all the basic amenities. There were also a 6 seater dining table and great size lounge area (3 seater and 2 seater sofa) and smart TV. Aircon was noisy but worked well and cooled the whole apartment. Both bedroom and lounge area had a wrap around balcony and had amazing ocean views. Umbrellas and raincoat was also included. Wifi was also provided.

Cleanliness of apartment can be done better – like deodorize the lounge and vacuum the carpet more thoroughly. The glass windows were not clean well either and I understand it’s the ocean that is causing the dirty glass but it just ruin the view when first walked in the apartment. Also, some minor dents that needs repairing on the wall (like light switch on 2nd bedroom). But this didn’t really bother us as had amazing views.

The 2 pools in Level 6 were beautiful to swim at especially Allunga side since can have the ocean as well which was picturesque. Water was nice and warm. Hubby used the gym facilities. Great access to Level 4 directly to Timezone and also direct access to Paradise Centre (the walkway is in between car park entry and Ballah front door). Great security as can’t get in the building front sliding door unless you have your door tag/key – same with the parking lot. Parking was included with accommodation. There is also bbq facilities with plenty of seating area in Level 6 (Pool, Gym and BBQ).

Check-in was quick and was pleased provided late check out till 12pm since we had a later flight. Location is prime due great views, direct access to shops and quick walk to eateries and the beach.

Had breakfast at indoor café in Paradise centre and they had really nice coffee there. Had filipino dinner at Barangay Fiesta and dessert at Noypi. 2nd night had dinner at Beer Garden since was provided $15 off vouchers as part of the accommodation – this was great place with games to play like Jumbo Genga, connect four etc.

We love staying here at Paradise Centre Apartments and stay here every year as it is so central to everything we do while on holiday. This time around we had 2 apartment rooms due to the amount of family staying with our rooms being on different floors. The lovely lady at reception gave use an extra fob to be able to access the different levels and these were great but these lasted a couple of days before they stopped working. When we saw reception we got different staff who wanted them returned, said we aren't allowed them and to give each other one of our room keys. We get 2 room keys per room. When you have more than one person in a room you need more than one key so giving over a room key is not an option. We have had this extra fob before on previous visits with no issues. There needs to be a better system for families to be able to access each other and all staff should be on the same page. Other than this the other issues were small and didnt affect our stay.

I would like to see them invest in a scales for bag weighing 🙂 this would save time at the airport.

Excellent location and views.
Large apartment, but sparsely decorated- no pictures on wall, decorations etc
Friendly staff.
Grounds maintained well.
Internet worked well.
Foxtel available in TV in living area
No heating in apartment and it was cold! A small blow heater and extra blanket were provided on request.
Shower leaked water each time it was used, soaking floor and bath mat.
More coat hangers needed in robes.
Bed was not overly comfortable. TV in bedroom took a bit to work out.
Once toilet paper, bin bags, washing liquid etc ran out you had to purchase your own. Only one of each was given.
Tea, Coffee etc was not replenished during stay, even though we stayed for 8 nights and had an apartment clean on day 4.
Would stay again, but I think it's a bit bit and miss with which room you are allocated - rooms are owned by different people, so differ greatly.

We stayed 15 nights in a 2 bedroom executive room. We were suprised to find a double bed plus a single bed in the second bedroom, we were expecting just two singles, so this was a bonus. Grounds are tidy and well maintained. There were a couple of small things that required fixing (example, main door to apartment would sometimes stick) but these didnt affect our stay. We did noticed on the first day that under furniture is missed by housekeeping (under couches, tv cabinet and beds hadnt been vaccum for a while i would say), but again this didnt affect our stay, i just went over it with the vaccum cleaner. Should i have had too, no, but it was faster than complaining and getting housekeeper up. Paradise Centre apartments is handy/central to the things we needed. My main issue was the apartment next door smoking. I am aware it is a privately owned/rented apartment. But i feel the tentants/owners should be more mindful (more respectful) of others. We had periods where the hallway outside the lift and our apartment would smell like marijuana. Would go back, just not next to those neighbors.

A lovely stay. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable with everything needed. Also a great location with easy access to everything, including the beach at the end of the street. The kitchen had all cookware needed and was large and clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure and hot water in the shower. The views from the apartment were spectacular. To be picky the room was a little dated in decor, and for a stay of 5 nights more coffee & tea could be provided and I also find it rather annoying to need to pay for an additional towel for the pool. The pool facility was however great, large and warm and lovely for a swim. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

We have stayed here several times now and loved it every time.

Property is aging a bit now so there are a few things starting to sound aged (air con noise). I would suggest some more attention to little cleaning details which will help remove any negatives as well. In kitchen the extractor fan when i pulled it out was thick with very obvious longtime grease on the top. I suspect it is not something regularly checked. Also thick obvious dust under all glass tops on tables. All simple stuff to attend to and hopefully this is taken onboard.

That aside it does not change our positive and very enjoyable holiday staying here.

Location is fabulous and we will be back for sure.

We have been travelling to the Gold Coast yearly for the past five years staying in different appartments every time trying to find the perfect place. We have finally found it at Paradise Centre Appartments! The perfect location (although the noise from Cavill Street bothered us occasionally at night, but that's to be expected right on Cahill St); a clean, well maintained appartment; 24/7 reception with every staff member friendly and helpful; two big pools, one of them heated (and warm enough to use all year round), two spas, a fitness room with more equipment than we have ever encountered before, a tennis court with racks available for a nominal fee. We could not have asked for more and will only stay here when visiting the Gold Coast.

The apartment is old, but the location is very good. The hotel is located above Surfers Paradise Centre, so there is a Woolworth in the basement, which is convenient for shopping.
The view from the balcony of the hotel is very good. This time, I was satisfied with the spacious two-bedroom room, but since it is an old hotel, it does not have a luxurious feel. In the evening, there are performances on the road in front, so it is lively. About twice a week, there are outdoor shops lined up on the beach, and it is crowded with people.
As for the bathroom, the shower water becomes lukewarm when the second person gets in, which is a drawback. I would like the kitchen utensils to be replaced with new ones.

This place is not much better than a cheap motel. Room doesn’t even come with a box of tissues, hairdryer or shower cap. The best way to describe this place is basic. Glass is so thin on a high floor you can hear every noise from Cavill Ave. door doesn’t even seal properly so bring ear plugs. If spending money on a holiday, stay somewhere else

Our stay was great for 6 nights and everything around was easily accessible. Apartment had great views and good amenities like heated pool and sauna.

Apartment kitchen and bathroom are dated and could use some renovation. We stayed for 6 nights and not having any cleaning at this time was a bit frustrating. Change of towels, sheets and bathroom cleaning is a must have. If we wanted to clean the kitchen or utensils then there was only 1 pouch of dishwashing liquid provided and the expectation was that we will leave a very clean apartment with trash taken out and utensils cleaned and put away. Didn’t feel like we were provided with the services of a holiday hotel or airbnb.

All in all we had a good stay but location was the only thing that helped.
