We chose Unit 60; despite backing on to the main thoroughfare, it has amazing sun on both balconies from mid morning till sunset. We liked the fact that the two bedrooms each had their own bathroom, and each on different levels, so you can holiday with friends and be quite private.

We ate many meals on the downstairs balcony, looking out over the tropical rainforest gardens and listening to the birds.

Although this is self-catering, we liked the thoughtful touches of tea and coffee making things in the apartment, the extra toilet rolls and dishwashing/l;aundry powder to get you started. Perfect situation just by the Northcliffe light rail station and 5 minutes from Cavil Ave (or less on the train).

From observation this seems to be one of the sunnier units and has good heat pumps and fans. Beds were comfortable and the linen crisply clean

This is a great choice for families or couples; not expensive and in a great location where the wide open balconies let you feel part of the scenery and not locked away in a hotel room

Located within 2 mins walk of Northcliffe light rail , and a 6 minute stroll to Surfers paradise central .
An older place , as many of the Surfers places are but excellent value .
We stayed in Unit 60 and can recommend it . One of only a few two
Level townhouses , it gets great sun from midday onwards , 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies .

It’s not a hotel so you need to top up your own supplies ( toilet rolls, shampoo etc) but that’s reflected in the pricing .

Full kitchen so you can save a bit on the occasional meals if you want .
We re on end Alfresco Italian and Noethcliffe SL Club for good meals .

Nice pool and spa and a sauna .
All linen provided was very clean .
Sone units can be dark due to sun location , hence our preference for 60 .
Some traffic noise but minimal ; we easily coped with that and it didn’t keep us awake
Fans and sue in on each level .

First impression.. lovely gardens and pool looked beautiful.Sorry to say can't say the same about our 2 bedroom apartment. Apparently they are all privately owned...well all I can say is if some money was spent this would be a fantastic place to stay.
Positives first. Very close to Cavil ave and beach. Very close to light rail. Staff also seemed pleasant.
Our appartment was sad.It seemed clean. Bathroom and kitchen were both clean and tidy.
The main bed was dreadful. The bed was full of springs. The windows were filthy and the curtains dusty. There was an obvious dirty brown smear on the wall which easily wiped off
We had a couple of other problems which were rectified upon letting staff know. And judging by the responses from Enderley gardens upon any criticism I'm not going to go into them. My advice to them is instead of being defensive and spouting off"we are a 3 star accomadation blah blah) please listen to people and try and fix things.

One more crucial thing if you stay here take your own toilet paper as what you get is it ...no spare under the sink....we had 2 half rolls for 4 people for 3 nights!

More of a residential property than a resort. Incredibly rude residents who obviously don’t like holiday makers and make it known to you. Our kids were told constantly to keep the noise down (they were laughing and splashing in the pool in the day time) as there are night shift workers trying to sleep. One rude old lady with ridiculous orange hair even threw my sons ball in the bin in front of him). Rooms are old and not the cleanest. the bed desperately needed replacing as it sunk in the middle. Aircon didn’t work upon arrival, it took the manager a few hours of tinkering to get it to work. Soooooo many rules it feels like you’re on a school camp. Just avoid, plenty of other nicer places to stay

Filthy dirty and disgusting rude staff. When you try and raise concerns with you they just look straight through you. The carpet in our room had disgusting stains all over. Also a very unsafe place to stay. Some very creepy people hang around this place.

Travellers BEWARE!!!

Staff were patronising. Room was unclean and in poor condition - thick dust on the ceiling fans; no curtains to main living which meant everyone could see into our living area and the sheers were covered in mould; there were holes in the walls and rips in one of the couches; bonded leather couch was flaking off onto our clothes and skin when sitting on the couch; oven emitted smoke during the one time we used it to cook; thin mattress that was very uncomfortable; many people smoking around the pool area. When we spoke to management about all of these issues they told us they were aware of the condition of the apartment and that's what we get for booking a cheap property. Staff rudely told me "if you had more money you would have booked elsewhere, like a Hilton, but you didn't so what did you expect". The main reason we chose the property was not the cost, but rather because it offered a washer, dryer and cooking facilities. Whilst we used the washer and dryer, the kitchen was not suitable for cooking in.

I posted the above response on Booking.com site and the hotel has responded with a sarcastic "Thank you for your glowing review." They accuse me of exaggerating my comments above, however I can assure you that I have kept only to the facts and have attached photos of the condition of the room. In this paragraph I have given some opinions. The only offer from management during our stay was to send housekeeping up to the room to vacuum the couch. Surely the expectation is that when you check-in you are provided with a clean room from the start, not one still covered in dust and housekeeping should not need to be called back for a job that should have already been done. At my request management provided an additional sheet that we could use to cover the flaking couch and that was the extent of their assistance. Management claims that they only receive positive feedback from other families that have stayed in the same apartment, however I think they must have forgotten which apartment they put us in, as in my opinion it is not fit for rent (especially not for approx. $200/night).

Do your research when considering this property and make sure you read all reviews, including the replies from the property. In my opinion when they receive compliments they are very nice, however turn blame back to the reviewer if they receive any negative feedback.

We will certainly never go back and I just want to help people avoid making the same mistake we did and feeling ripped off.

Booked for 8 days in Dec 2015 at this so called "Resort". Was shocked to find out that the apartment / rooms was not air-conditioned. When I questioned, I was told that I should have specifically request for one with air-condition during my booking online. Apparently, most of the apartment and rooms are non- air-condition. Repeated request to change the apartment to one with air-condition was turned down. Staff is very unhelpful. Place has no lifts and is not covered-link to reception area. No one will help you carry your baggages up your apartment if it is at L4.

The master bedroom does not have any window that can be opened. When we go back to the apartment in the evening, it was like an oven. 2015. Hottest summer in Australia, the sun continued to shine late into the evening until about 7pm. It shined right into the other room where my kids are supposed to stay. There is hardly any ventilation except from the living room balcony.

I believed that many of the reviews in their website are not genuine. I suggest you take a look at the place before you make any payment and you will know what I meant. The place is not well kept and looks old and run down. The stair well leading to my Apartment is so dark even in broad daylight. It is scary. The Resort also has a host of ridiculous rules like having to clear the rubbish bins in your apartment else you will be fine $40 (see attached images).

In the end, it was impossible for my kids and wife to stay in this apartment. I have to move them to another apartment / hotel with air-condition nearby. Surprisingly, the rate in the other Apartments are not much more expensive even though they offered much better facilities and services.

Mr Teng, thank you for your feedback, but after reading your review I think you may have mistaken the style of accommodation you have booked. Enderley Gardens Resort is a 3.5 star Self-Catering Serviced Apartments. We are not a hotel. We don’t offer the services that a hotel does, like porter services. I hope that you can understand that when you asked to be moved to another room it was right in the middle of Peak Season, if we had an apartment to move you to we would have. It wasn’t a matter of just declining your request. There was nothing available to move you to. It is heavily advised on our website that not all of the apartments have Air-Conditioning and we are a three story walk up. It is extremely important that you research your accommodation thoroughly before booking, had you done this you would have been well informed on the style of accommodation we are. There was two months from the time you booked to the day you arrived where you could have dropped us an email with any questions you might have had. The other items you have mentioned like how light it was at 7am and how hot it was it unfortunately out of our control. We are sorry that our accommodation was not as you had expected. Should you wish to discus this further, please don't hesitate to contact on +61 7 55 701 511 or email us at holidays@enderleyresort.com.au

Called in to reception to see if I could have a quick look around to see if it is somewhere I might bring my kids later in the year on our next trip. Had stayed there previously as a young kid. However Staff were extremely unhelpful and suggested I just look at their website instead. The gentlemen on reception had no idea of the room numbers and was completely disinterested. I know you probably don't get paid much to do the job but you should only be in a service industry if you want to give service. Needless to say I won't be booking in here.

You came to reception asking specific information about a specific apartment. It is not within our guidelines to provide information about specific apartments for privacy reasons. Nor is it in our guidelines to allow random people off the street to gain access to the building for unknown reasons. You could not provide a valid reason for your need to enter the building & anything you needed to know could & can be found on our website. At not point did you request room rates or information on staying at the resort. You simply wanted access to the building which we would not provide you. We would have been more than happy to provide you with information pertaining to staying at the resort if you had asked. Its quite sad to read a review like yours which in essence is all about you not getting your own way. Regards Enderley Gardens Resort.

Worst experience of my life!!!

On arrival the receptionist was rude (Todd).

Every appliance was old and faulty! Washing didn't spin and clothes dryer overheated to the point it burnt my hand touching the top.

There was only half a toilet roll on arrival and when asking for another we were told 'it's not a hotel but self contained apartments'.

Not even plastic bags were supplied for rubbish bin but you were expected to throw away own rubbish otherwise there is an additional 'house keeping fee'.

A cushion on the couch had blood stains on it.

Spa would turn off every 5 minutes so there wasn't even a chance to relax.

Just a dingy dirty place and wouldn't even send a sick dog there.
Only positive is the location but I would rather sleep on a chair at McDonald's.

booked this accommodation, having not been to Gold Coast before, recommended by booking people as great location and family motel.

On arriving at 5.15 pm, on Friday, office was closed, and the key to our apartment left in a phonebook next to office.

Then when we got the the motel, great disappointment, the kitchen oven was dirty o the top, cutlery in the draw had margarine on them, ants crawling in the bathroom and the fridge was on one leg and the other was s piece of cardboard. Went to the bedroom., the door was damaged on the front, I automatically contacted our booking person to find us a new place as we were not prepared to have paid a substantial amount of hard worked money, to stay in an unhygienic environment with 2 children. Unfortunately due to Xmas period, everything was fully booked. My booking person did a written letter requesting a refund for these poor conditions to Enderley Gardens Office. For someone who had never been to Gold Cosst was very disappointed, mainly stayed out so not to have to stomach these conditions. In the week we were there, we had 4 towels provided for us, 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 toilets, sorry I have been all over the world this is the by far the worst place I have stayed in.
I have provided photos of the above to Discover Queensland who recommended this place. I give one star ONLY for location, but Hygiene is my top priority.
