Breakfree long beach is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in surfers paradise, the room was so beautiful and had a 360 view of the ocean, it was also so clean and decorated extremely nice and homely. the location of this hotel is extremely ideal as it is just walking distance from the beach and cavil avenue. The staff here were beyond helpful and lovely especially the general manager kevin, who went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. the hotel offers a lot such as a heated pool, an outdoor pool, a tennis court etc. i couldn’t recommend staying here enough.

Air Conditioner needs to be repaired before next people take the room. As pedestal Fans aren't that great. A little maintenance in room 2501. But overall a good location and excellent for the fireworks New Years.

Overall we had a great time with our family, excellent walking to distance to lots of places, nice pool to cool off in and excellent staff. Some rooms need to be cleaned a wee bit better but other than that was great. Another thing to be aware of when booking into check if you get a room with air con as not all apartments have working air con, we were lucky enough to have ours going but the rest of our family in a separate apartment had no air con and there rooms were very hot

Location is fantastic however we were very disappointed with the dirty dated apartment (room 2004) which is poorly equiped for cooking. We were told this was the third nicest renovated apartment available (first two were not available at the time). Venetian blinds in living areas are broken, hard to open to get any views and covered in dust. There is no working airconditioning (which we were informed about) however there is dust surrounding aircon vents and the fans provided can not be used in the second bedroom as powerpoints are behind the bed and the fan cords are too short. Only one ceiling fan in the main bedroom. Doors and walls are dirty. Second bathroom ceiling paint is peeling. Lounge suite is ripped in numerous spots and lounge cushions dirty. The apartment can sleep 6 people however has a very poorly equipped kitchen with scratched rusty pans and a broken handle knife. No tea towel or kitchen washing scourer is provided. The apartment is in desperate need of painting and replacing of lounge suite, rusty bar stools, blinds and kitchen utensils. Air conditioning should also be fixed.

I didn’t know breakfree hotels are budget rooms.I should have done my research. I was drawn to the advertised apartment picture on their website which is nothing to what we experienced. The apartment 1605 was run down with ripped curtains and it looked tired. The view was great and the kitchen was large but dirty. Please look at the attached pictures. I think budget accommodation does not need to be dirty or tired. The little things such as shampoo, soap for the second bathroom tea and toilet paper all had to be chased up with reception. Perhaps they don’t care about repeat customers!

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Longbeach. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We also had beautiful views of the ocean. The hotel facilities are fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The location is great, across the road to the beach, an easy walk to the middle of Surfers Paradise and the tram stop. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. We would love to return!

The property and location more than met our expectations. The views from all windows were world class as was the help and friendliness received from Kevin (property manager) and the other staff members. I was excited to stay here when I visited the Gold Coast recently, as this was always our chosen hotel whist I was growing up but under a different name. We stayed in room 702 when was the last time management viewed this room? No paying customer should be given a room with a mouldy bathroom I was horrified to see such filth. There had been no attempt made to clean it either. I live in the coldest state in Australia and there's no mould in my house. The entire room could do with a good clean including the window frames and oven. There was no heating or cooling in the room which got extremely cold during the night. No toilet brush to clean the toilet. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The only good thing about the room was the view. Staff were friendly at check in. Unfortunately when staying on the Gold Coast next I'll stay somewhere else.

My stay at Longbeach recently lived up to my expectations. The corner apartment we stayed in had awesome views, longbeach is situated central Surfers but not side by side to other buildings, We enjoyed the views and space we weren't just Looking onto highrise next door. I had a bad leg so being straight across the road from beach was amazing. The building has recently refurbished, was so clean and updated. Reception Eddie and Gabby are so accomodating and a pleasure to deal with assisting us with all our needs. A big thank to Sharyn who was looking after gardens etc why we were lazing around the pool we noticed how much energy she has and was daily smiling and saying hello. Overall a great place to holiday. We had the best time! Made use of the indoor heated pool quite a lot. The rooms were spacious for a family of four (two toddlers), had a well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It was like a home away from home. Would not hesitate to book here again next time we go to the GC!
