Price and location is brilliant. The concept of the room is great, with dining, lounge, self-contained kitchen. But it is dated. Don't expect much.

The splash back needed wiping down from someone's coffee splashes. Need to improve the coffee and milk options. The kitchen drawers were all scratched.

Such a shame because it is in an ideal spot. Pool area is absolutely beautiful

Booked a studio river view room. Had minimal views though, due to being on ground floor. Still ok though.
Room was everything we needed for a two night stay. Although could’ve been a little more cleaner, with a lot of dirty marks on the room walls & the balcony floor/door needing a good clean/sweep/mop.

The small fridge & tea/coffee making facilities in the room came in very handy.
The location in the heart of Surfers was super convenient, within walking distance to everything close by.
We would stay here again.

Stayed here for one night. The rooms are extremely old and are need for a complete renovation. Bed is completely rock hard! Advised staff members that this was the case and they advised me that there was not much they could do due to limited rooms and each apartment being owned individually. Sleep was horrible and i have a sore back and arms.

Carpet was dirty and had marks on it, and the room felt like it was built in the 70's
Wifi was terrible quality and i had to pay $29.95 for a private network over 2 days

AVOID IF POSSIBLE!

Is a disgusting hotel
I never leave reviews for hotels but I felt as if I had to.
There is no good in this hotel our room
Was beyond dated furniture paying over $100 a night you expect a clean room
This room
Was far from it . Exposed nails on the floor. Dirty carpet and bed. Mould in kettle and fridge
This place needs to be closed down and re done.
Also I think it’s totally ridiculous that they think 2 towels for two people staying for 5 days is enough. I had to pay $3 extra for more towels .
Do not stay here!
This hotel almost ruined our holiday.
Also we did complain about the room and got given another room
Which wasn’t much better again mould in fridge and kettle
Bathroom fan not working. Toliet didn’t flush properly

And we both came home with bed bug bites

If we'd skipped the 1st unit (night), this review would be 4 stars. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Room 310A was atrocious! Bird droppings on the carpet, glass doors - filthy, disgusting click clack sofa (extra bed), toilet brush covered in brown?, dust millimetres thick, dried liquid spills all over the place. Even the TV remote was nasty. Every surface was gross, the bed linen seemed very clean though. Arrived around 2pm, were warned about Suncorp security deposits (*note at the end), made a coffee then went out to find food. We didn't complain then, opting to do so on our return, however reception was closed at 4:00-ish. The next morning we made it clear about the state of the unit and were moved to 228A, after we approved it. This unit was perfectly fine. Please see those photos. Such a shame that our stay was already tainted, because the complex overall is quite nice, the location is great and the staff were lovely. Apparently, the units are privately owned, but the cleaning is performed by the body corporate. The $200 charge for losing the key/fob is over the top! *My last (one and only hotel deposit in Australia) was also withheld by Suncorp for over one month, WHICH IS ABSURD. It's their policy. On the bank's advice I contacted the resort, TWICE, by email with their instructions to release the deposit. The resort never replied, but I did get my deposit back, eventurally.

So, we booked 18 nights in this 3.5 star resort and the from the photos it looked very reasonable for the price.

However, this has been the worst place we have ever stayed in.

1. Room was not serviced for our entire stay, even though the resort policy is longer stays are serviced every 7th day. We have been responsible for laundering the sheets and towels ans buying our own toilet paper.

2. The room wasn't clean to start with, dust on most surfaces including the ceiling and curtains

3. Room in serious state of disrepair and looks like it hasn't seen a paint brush since it was built.

4. We booked a garden view room. Not much of a garden to view and only meters from the drive and carpark. The main contents of the garden are cigarette butts from the filthy pig living in the room above

5. We tried sitting on the patio for breakfast, however this was interrupted by ash and cigarette butts raining down from above.

6. The room has no personality, prison cells we've seen in movies look more appealing.

7. Mattress on the bed is stuffed and should have been replaced years ago.

I definitely will never recommend this place as it seems the owners are more interested in collecting the money than making sure what they're offering is worth it

My husband and I like staying here whenever we are in Gold Coast. Good location and value for money. It is not a 5 star accommodation so we pay for what we get. Booked 2 nights recently for only $80/ night and we got upgraded to 1 bedroom Riverview unit upon checking in. The unit has kitchenette, washing machine/dryer and fairly big balcony. The unit looks like it’s been painted not so long ago. Unfortunately the breakfast service in restaurant is no longer available.

We upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom for $10 per night. We had a lovely view of the river and lots of lights at night. Only 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to Cavill Mall. There were some cleanliness issues with the kitchen utensils and cookware, but the price of the unit was so reasonable I figured I could wash them myself before using. Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and. I stay here regularly as we find it very convenient. It’s only a few minutes walking distance to Surfers Paradise. The room rate is reasonable n affordable for us. Due to COVID, they have stopped including buffet breakfast . But the ala carte breakfast was a good deal, for the price of $9.90 we were served a big portion of meal. The only downsides are they join 2 twin beds , instead of using a queen bed which is rather uncomfortable and the shower curtain is a little bit filthy. Otherwise we are very happy with the condition n size of the rooms, as well as the pool/spa

Was a little anxious after reading reviews but was surprised and very happy upon checking in. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Lobby area modern and staff welcoming with a little kiosk for basic needs. The hotel grounds and bbq areas etc beautifully maintained with bbq’s overlooking the lake and sitting areas to enjoy the surroundings. The pool area was great ! Nice heated pool with hot spa and another smaller pool as well with waterfalls, all overlooking the river. Beautiful looking at the city lights during an evening swim. Location is perfect ! Right in the middle of surfers paradise but felt nice and quiet as well on “own island”. The room we had (216A) was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed and good sized river view balcony. Felt safe and secure in the hotel. Great value for money. We will definitely be back !

Hi Jenni, $200 by credit card pre authorisation or $200 cash which would be refunded on checkout providing key is returned and room check is complied with.
