Positives - really good location (right at the beach), nice pool area and really good kitchen, our room was nice and clean and had a good night sleep here. There is free wifi but it's touch and go. On the other side, felt some of the staff were too concerned in having a good time rather than looking after the...

Stayed at this hostel for three nights, I have to admit I wasn't the biggest fan of Surfer's Paradise as I found it tacky and too Americanised for Australia so I may be a bit biased against this hostel. The faults with this hostel were the rooms were old and dirty and felt very unkept, I don't think it helped...

Hi. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us but Like you said you where not a big fan of surfers itself and seem to be taken it out on us. To call the staff clueless is a little mean when most where new and learning and all they where trying to do was help you and...

I would not bother! booked for 10 people back in October over the phone then a mate booked in November for 5 people arrived ready to go excited for our holiday and the hotel owner claimed they had no booking and don't take group booking despite the email confirmation! Owner was extremely rude and told us it was too bad...

I am sorry but I find this review laughable if not for the seriousness of it. And very disappoint in trip advisor allowing you to write this review. It was you and your big group that were very rude and aggressive to us. We politely and calmly explained that we did not have your booking and unfortunately could not offer...

Fab location just metres from the beach, simple but clean dorm rooms, good kitchen facilities and the added bonus of a swimming pool makes this hostel the perfect backpacker base to explore Surfers. The staff were all really helpful and encouraged us all to get involved with the nights out which were great fun. I'd definitely recommend this hostel for...

I really enjoyed this hostel. It doesn't feel like a hostel, it feels like a home. It's pretty small and it can be a little rough around the edges but the staff are helpful. You have lots of space to relax and watch movies. There are regularly activities and events organised if you want to go out. This is my...

People who post poor reviews for hostels like this are either completely delusional as to what this sort of travelling entails, have had a one-off bad experience or are the type of person who loves to complain. From a budget (and I mean cheap, not poor quality) travellers perspective, the hostel is great. Rooms are adequately comfortable and have a...

Cheap, close to the beach, has a tourist desk where you can book tours, excursions and everything in between, and seems to attract a good crowd who're always up for a night out. What more could you ask for from a hostel?

Arrived here the other day for a 4 night stay found it easy enough by jumping on a tram pretty much near the airport dropped me almost opposite hostel so no need to get shuttle bus greeted by friendly staff and also the owner or manager not sure but he just wanted to go through how the hostel works (...

Stayed at this hostel for five nights and it's located just outside the city centre. It's close to the beach and had a pool. The pool however is small and not many beds. The facilities are ok but found the kitchen cramped when a couple of people are in it. My room was clean and basic but it's cheap so...

Where do I start? First of all, we had booked this hostel the day before we arrived and the morning of our arrival I received an email explaining how to get the shuttle bus from the bus station. So you can imagine our dismay when we got to the bus station and were informed the shuttle was unable to run...

Hi First of all we are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately you did not once come into us with any of your concerns. Sheets from time to time have marks on them but we could of easily changed them for you. Again if you wanted an all girls room we could of moved...
