The Ruby apartments was very central, apartment 29 had amazing views where we sat on the balcony watching the ocean to the left and Budds Beach to the right. The apartment was clean and only a short walk to Surfers main town, 7/11 around the corner for a quick coffee, Bumbles was a short walk which was across the road of Budds Beach, they served up an amazing good sized breakfasts reasonably priced menu, but the coffees were very expensive. Then take a stroll along Budd Beach which was a great fishing spot and a very quiet suburban area.. Only downfall of The Ruby was that all of the lobby amenities like the restaurant bar, cafe were all closed down which is the 1st thing you see when walking into the apartment reception, pool was a good size and the lobby was so relaxing just to sit. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Arise Ruby. The location is good - away from the crowds of Surfer’s Paradise but close enough to be able to walk into all the action (roughly a 10 minute walk). Our room was clean. There were a few subtle pillow stains and some hair on the floor on arrival. The apartment is self serviced meaning there is no housekeeping. If you run out of supplies reception is happy to provide you with anything you need eg. more towels, toilet paper etc. The view from our apartment was amazing, a mix of city and beach. It was a bit disappointing that the restaurant and cafe was closed for the whole week as it meant we had to go to other local hotels to get coffee and snacks. We thought the pool was clean and large enough despite other reviewers mentioning the size. Overall we enjoyed our stay apart from a couple of the things described above. PS the scent in the lobby was delicious.

Clean and great location for all including families, onsite parking, The rooms come with great views of the beach and surrounding area. Great value for money and the place looks a million bucks. highly recommend staying here as its very close to the beach

Our 2 bedroom apartment looked brand new, very modern and very clean, with great views over the Gold Coast, but does lack character and is below average in size. The so-called "Queen" beds are more like Doubles. Lounge and balcony are quite small to cater for 4 people comfortably, although kitchen/dining area is a bit more spacious.
The public areas look good and are nicely decorated, it's a shame there is no bar or restaurant running as it is a nice space but at the moment just feels a bit sad. Facilities are good and again look new and modern - pool, gym, sauna and steam room.
Liked the location - a couple of block from the beach and a short walk to the heart of Surfers yet it is situated slightly away from the main drag of pubs and clubs so it is quiet overnight. Be aware though that it is very noisy on the "Paradise Resort" side of the hotel during the day due to the water park directly next door and even closing the doors and windows still allows in a lot of noise and music. I'm sure the other side would be a better choice!

I stayed here recently with 7 other friends. The beds only slept 7, even thought we had booked for 8, so two people had to share the couch (which was barely big enough for one person) and only 7 blankets and towels were provided, so we had to buy our own for the 8th guest. no housekeeping was provided, so no fresh towels, sheets or toilet paper was provided throughout the week. At one point during the week the lock into our door stopped working so we asked reception for some assistance. we were told by a lady that their was nothing they could do and we had to contact the “agent” (we had NO clue who this was and neither did she) to come and charge the lock on the door so that we could actually enter our room. Check in was confusing as we had to go to another location to receive our room card, which we only discovered after arriving at the hotel. Reception wouldn’t provide us with any spare blankets, towels toilet paper or anything. We understand that housekeeping is a luxury, but surely you could at least accommodate for the amount of people we booked for? Very disappointed by our experience here, wouldn’t recommend.

Arrived on Friday 28/10/22 for 2 nights for the Gold Coast 600 Supercars race. Checkin was seamless and was completed in about 10 minutes. Our rooms were on the 14th floor. Rooms was large with 2 separate bedrooms. Main had ensuite and large flatscreen TV and a very comfortable bed. Second bedroom had 2 large single beds and there was a second full bathroom opposite. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an enclosed washer/dryer combo and dishwasher. Room was exceptionally clean, furniture in good order and clean. Great views from both bedrooms and lounge area. Pool located on the ground floor. Small breakfast shop opposite reception open each morning but not operated by the hotel, operated by a independent operator. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Cavill Ave or the beach. Hotel rooms are so quiet you feel like you are the only people in the hotel.

Poor service or lack of. Most hotels will bring you up supplies this one doesnt you have to go all the way down to collect. No cleaning equipment for stay under 6 days you have to pay no vacuum no broom no toilet brush. Over 45min check in wait. Staff member insinuated we were lying over not having a frying pan and insisted they come up into our room to show us where it was invasion of privacy and felt violated as if we didnt check thoroughly ourselves.
Basically worst apartments i have ever stayed at will never return.

The ocean view rooms had beautiful views of the Gold Coast from the sea to the hinterland. The apartments were very well appointed with quality appliances, glasses, crockery etc. Beds were very comfortable. We were disappointed, the restaurant, café, and bar were not operating so the ground floor looked a little sad and empty. Pool area was very nice and most suitable for children. While it looked like a lap pool it was very shallow for at least half of it's length. While there were no restaurants close to the hotel it was an easy five minute walk to the light rail.

We passes 3 magnificent nights with my family in this gorgeous apartment with spectacular ocean - bay views. The apartment was extremely cost, homely, warmly and the kitchen was so handy to cook in. The location is great, it’s quite close to the beach and 10 minutes away on foot from City center. The staff was hospitable, piloted and ready to give you a hand in your accommodation. The outside swimming pool is best place to chill and forget about daily rutina. The price and quality are unbeatable.

On arrival the apartment was not cleaned properly with a dirty toilet and hair on both the bathroom and kitchen floors. Our socks were black after 30 minutes walking around. The single beds for 3 adults were not single at all and were about the width of a babies cot. All 3 adults had sleepless nights due to same and we could hear the lift going up and down through the walls till late into the night and early in the morning. Not at all a place I would recommend for families or anyone more then 5ft tall or over 40kgs. Staff weren’t that friendly either. The check-in process needs to be sent at least 2 days before you arrive in case you don’t have wifi. Otherwise you are stranded after hours, trying to get hold of someone for help. Overall a very disappointing stay.

In our weekly Housekeeping meeting this week I will discuss your feedback and necessary action will be taken to ensure this does not occur for our future guests. With regards to your comments on the furniture replaced, this is one of our challenges as Strata Managed hotel. All of our apartments are individually furnished by the owner and to replace items we need to be able to contact the owner for their approval.
