Situated right on the Bruce Highway opposite the excellent Rockhampton Leagues Club, our motel features stylish, ground floor rooms with split system air conditioning, free Wi- Fi and undercover parking throughout. Each room has a microwave, toaster, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities (Queen & Twin rooms also have the latest Nespresso Virtuo Plus coffee machines) as well as an iron and ironing board. The en suite bathrooms include free toiletries and a hairdryer. There is also a wheelchair accessible room set up as a twin. All rooms are serviced daily. Room-service continental or cooked breakfast is available to order and we have arrangements with three restaurants within walking distance to allow you to charge meals back to your room. Rockhampton Palms Motor Inn is only 3km from Rockhampton Airport and less than 1km from Rockhampton Hospital.

We booked at this hidden treasure of a motel due to other good reviews and we were delighted. All facilities were well kept and scrupulously clean. There is a pool, tidy landscaping and covered parking. The unit we stayed in was clean, comfy and all the appliances worked well, including a cool and quiet aircon. Toiletries and hairdryer provided and also an anti slip mat for the extra large shower. There is a separate WIR with ample storage, hangers, ironing board and iron. A helpful folder with information about the motel and interesting things to do in Rockhampton was provided. Tea and coffee pods were in the room, along with milk and sugar. The bar fridge had ice, sanitised wrapped glasses, chocolate bars and drinks - including two very welcome cold beers! More drinks and snacks could be purchased at reception. A good dinner was available by walking across the road to the RSL club. Cooked and Continental brekky pre ordered at motel reception the night before for delivery to your room. Our brekky was tasty and cooked perfectly. The hosts were warm, friendly and went ‘above and beyond’. We cannot recommend highly enough, and look forward to staying again in the future. 🏁👍🏻❤️

We booked this motel at short notice as we were driving through Rockhampton and decided to stop over. The experience of calling and booking was so easy, we were given an affordable rate and the process of getting the keys when we arrived a few hours later was very simple.
The rooms themselves are spacious and well thought out. We were really happy to find a comfortable bed, a dedicated wardrobe area and a spotless bathroom, with easy parking out the front of our room. When we woke up in the morning, we were so impressed by the kitchenette area - it was well equipped with a kettle and toaster, plus a coffee pod machine. Unlike most hotels, the mini bar items were very affordable and some items were even free, including the coffee pods and a small bottle of milk.
This motel was such a great find, we really enjoyed our stay here. As a family who travels often with a very active toddler, it had everything we needed at an affordable price. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Graham who we made our booking through was both friendly and helpful. Originally we booked 3 rooms but only needed 2 and we were able to cancel the other room with no problem. We stayed two nights. He graciously booked us a taxi as requested, as our departure was 6.30am on a Sunday morning for the railway.

After driving from Longreach after 2 weeks out West, we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a motel.
Lots of power points.
Large and spacious.
Coffee pod machine.

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The spacious room was very comfortable for three adults. Undercover parking provided easy access to the room. The 'walk- in- robe' provided enough space for all of our luggage, providing a 'clutter free' room. Plenty of complimentary tea and coffee - including a coffee pod machine, 'real' milk and bottled water. Great proximity to restaurants and the Leagues Club.

Rockhamptom Palms Motor Inn is the perfect stopover offering quiet modern rooms, comfy beds, undercover car parking and easy access. This visit was our second stopover, why look elsewhere when you have all you need right here. Rockhamptom Palms Motor Inn is within easy walking distance to plenty of food places, the Leagues Club is across the road and there are many other options close by.
The Managers are always friendly, helpful and very efficient.
We highly recommend this beautiful little motel and will be stopping here again on our next trip to Brissy

Had a night at this motor inn. Graham very friendly and helpful, the room was clean. We asked for a twin room. The twin room seemed to also cater for those with a disability so if you need a room with grab handles, shower seat etc. this is the place for you. Extra towels, bath mats, bottled water, large milk, great coffee pod machine with pods provided.
There is a convenience store close by as well as all of the regular take away eateries.
Would recommend the motel if you don’t have children. The room was a little noisy due to it being on the main road.
We were here on a Monday so missed out on having a meal at the rugby league club directly over the road. Bit of a shame as the club dining areas seem to have good reviews. We went for a walk towards the Fitzroy River and ate at Trufusion, an Indian restaurant. It was delicious.

Our family of 6 stayed at the Rockhampton Palms for one night as a stopping point between Brisbane and Airlie Beach. We liked it so much we also stayed there for the return trip 10 days later. We booked the family room and an adjacent room. We found it reasonably priced and clean tidy and well appointed. The owners are hands on and obviously work hard to keep everything ship shape. We mainly dealt with Graeme who was friendly and efficient and always helpful. The Rockhampton Leagues Club is across the road and is a great place for a meal.

Friendly service, good quality and very clean. Close to everything and affordably priced, we would recommend his property to any travelling family wanting a trouble free, high quality stay. The minibar is very cheap too!

The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. There were a couple of surprises that we didn't expect:
1. mini-bar that was priced very well, I never use a mini-bar as they are always a rip-off, this one was actually a real help and saved me from finding a bottle shop.
2. Coffee machine with pods, yes that's right they supplied the pods and made a really enjoyable start to the day. The room smelt like a coffee shop when I left!
If we need to stay in Rockhampton again we would check this place out again. The owners really understand what it is like to travel and have set the room up to make people feel welcomed.
