Very close to Rockhampton leagues club and a variety of food establishments. Have stayed here several times but seems to have deteriorated. Bed as hard as a rock. Rooms are looking quite tired. No hairdryer or iron and ironing board in room. Certainly not worth the $130 I was charged for the night. Won’t be back.

Very friendly, very clean, all you need for a night stay. The pool looked clean and inviting but i didn't have my cosie. Mecca's, KFC, Red Rooster and a few more were in walking distance. The leagues club just a quick walk too. Undercover parking as well

This used to be a great place to stay but time has caught up with it it no longer has a restaurant or cooked breakfasts so its a room only deal and they are clean with reasonable space however the bed springs could be felt thru the bedding the tv was a cheap unit with poor sound the reception was friendly but there are other places to stay for similar prices with better facilities

My children used the pool within 30 mins of arriving,. They were soon back out as we found human faeces in the water. We notified management of the issue who closed the pool for cleaning. On closer inspection of the room, later that day and after the office had closed, there was a dirty towel in the bathroom, dirty blankets in the cupboard and significant black mould on the wall next to the bed that my son had to sleep in. The a/c unit was so noisy it rendered it useless if you wanted to sleep at all. I attempted to obtain a refund and was refused as apparently, the private pool was public and anyone can use it so its not the motel's fault and he can't be expected to clean the pool all the time. There was no offer of explanation or apology on the mould or any of the other dirty issues I mentioned. Please refer to the photos.

Spacious room , very clean and tidy with comfortable bed . Management are nice and there is a laundry on site. Kitchen has coffee and toast making facilities and a fridge to store food. Walking distance to shops and food if you need and it’s very well maintained, quite, friendly environment is a winner for me. Thank you Greg for your service and hospitality. See you next time.

The manager Greg was so friendly and inviting. We arrived much later than anticipated since we were driving from Far North Queensland and he easily left arrangements for an easy stress free check in. We used the BBQ and pool area a couple of times during our stay and Greg always came over for a chat and to offer cutlery and BBQ equipment. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and were situated in a fantastic location with many shops and facilities right next door. I will definitely recommend this lovely little place as service and hospitality to this extent is rare to find. Keep up the amazing work Greg! because i am sure its because of your care and quality of service that keeps people coming back!

Hi JudithParnham Thank you for taking the time to write a review and such a glowing one at that. Gosh, we're all blushing here in the office. We work as a team to present our motel as your "home away from home" when you are in Rockhampton. Greg, our manager and "face to the public" is very particular about the cleanliness of the rooms and the general presentation of the motel to our guests. The BBQ and pool areas are well used particularly with our longer stay guests and Greg always has a prepacked BBQ box with utensils and oil to get you started. Until we see you again be safe, be happy, smile and travel well.

i stayed for a couple of days it was expensive, wifi was crap, tvs were small, and toilet and shower was filthy and to top it off the staff was very rude to my visitor and the owner followed him out and up the road and treated him like a criminal. ill never stay at that motel again. it is not a profesional way of managing a buisness.

Rude and disinterested staff, unreliable wi-fi, outdated decor, unattractive ambiance, unsecured, dirty - thankful for only needing to stay one night. Very very overpriced for what it is, and definitely would not stay here again.

A older motel but in a great location.Staff extremely friendly & obliging. Bathroom a bit small but very clean and toiletries supplied excellent including shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, hand gel, body lotion & shaving cream all of good quality.Plenty of places to eat, Leagues club just down the road and city centre is within walking distance. Overall a great place to stay.

Spent a night at the 'Metro Motel' on our way to Airlie Beach. Stopped for the night in Rockhampton and we were fortunate to find exceptional service at a very reasonable price. Manager very helpful, clean room, comfortable and well equipped.
