I stayed twice with Glenmore Palms and agree with the other good reviews made by previous travellers.

Conveniently located, this well run motel always ensure a good rest and great service as a good stop point or holiday respite between Brisbane towards or from Airlie Beach and Whitsundays.
Please do not be one of those horror road statistics type fatigued drivers risking family and friends trying to drive all the way to Whitsundays or Cairns after too many hours of long driving without taking a good rest and revive at this well run Rockhampton motel.

Management and check-in process is always friendly, professional, experienced, fair and flexible and they care for their guests.

I stayed last on Sept 1 as well as August and both the evening manager and morning management provided good advice about how to rest well and travel safely and where to get good food [e.g. some food dining advice for touring Yeppoon and food in nearby convenient shopping centre which also has a good "Degani" pies with fluffy fresh baked pastry and cake shop as well as multiple other eating and shop facility options].

Showers are strong and hot in a large clean comfortable room and the beds are very comfortable with good linen so I had a good sleep and rest each time.
The amenities and bathroom are nice and well lit due to the fairly recent good skylights.

The walls are solid so I woke up well rested and safely relaxed for the next stage of long drive.

BTW Great minds think alike:
(1) As well as the other experienced travellers reviving and refreshing at this Rockhampton motel whom I saw from their cars in the parking lot since they know a good motel,
(2) Management have also aimed to improve amenities and service levels by providing all rooms with new microwave ovens.

We will stay again there without hesitation for the comfort and good value and great service.
Recommend you try them as well for good sleep and safe rested drive.

Thanks and Regards,
Lee

Driving to Brisbane my husband and I decided to have our rest stop ( over night ) at the Glenmore Palms. This motel was on the main highway with major roadworks and we were concerned about the noise, though we were pleasantly surprised. David who served us was well attired, very friendly and full of knowledge of the local eateries. (Due to Covid 19 the on site restaurant was not operating on Sunday) Upon presentation to our accommodation, we found a clean, well presented room. Mattress was comfortable, clean crisp sheets, updated bathrooms amenities with instant hot water. We had issues with the television remote control, called David whom appeared within minutes to rectify the situation without any issues. We had a great nights sleep to be woken up the next morning by the sounds of birds chirping. What a pleasure surprise as we live in a remote location and are used to this alarm clock. On check out, David showed us around the motel as we enquired about the hot water situation- David was only to willing to comply. Prior departure David offered us travel coffee, which tasted fantastic, together with no payment for this. We fully recommend anyone to stay

Unfortunately our campervan had broken down in the middle of the night and our insurance company had told us they had booked a room at this motel. Therefore, we rang the bell at gone 1.20am and David the owner let us in and kindly explained no one had contacted him and no booking had been made but we could of course have a room if we needed one. We contacted our insurance company again and David patiently waited for over 20 mins until we got through and they confirmed they hadn't made the booking yet and asked if they could make it at that moment instead. Despite having woken David up early hours in the morning and keeping him awake whilst we tried to speak to out insurance company to sort out the issue we were having regarding the broken campervan and having nowhere to stay for the night he was so kind and patient with us.
The room he gave us was so spacious and it had air con which was much needed. It also had all the amenities we needed such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap etc and everything was so neatly presented. The pillows were so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here it was perfect.
The next morning he checked in with us again and went above and beyond to help us. He is an amazingly kind and generous man! The lady at reception was also super helpful and so lovely and kind. The staff and owners here really do go above and beyond and are so welcoming and friendly - I cannot sing their praises enough. We will definitely be returning! This was hands down the best customer service experience we have ever received!!

David and his wife were so accommodating and welcoming. Accommodation was fabulous and surprisingly quiet. All facilities required are there and the location is central - great to be able to walk to Maccas for a morning coffee!
We’ll be back!!

Our 2 nights stay in Glennore Palms over Easter weekend was everything we needed. Our family room had a double bed and 2 singles without feeling too cramped. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were beyond friendly and so accommodating - really making us feel welcomed and not like we were another number to tick off. Thankyou for a great stay!

I stayed at Glenmore Palms motel for one night while travelling through Rockhampton, and it was both a delight and a relief. I have had a couple of not so good experiences in the town, with accommodation not up to what I was expecting for the star rating, but the Glenmore Palms has earned every one of its stars and more. The people at reception were helpful and kind. The room I stayed in was terrific - large, scrupulously clean and new. It was well appointed and roomy with a kitchenette area, separate table and chairs as well as lots of bench and luggage space and a separate cupboard. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was new and shiny and clean, it all worked and nothing was broken. It was sheer luxury. In addition there is a shopping centre next door with takeaway dinner options and I believe a supermarket although I didn't go in there. There is also a tavern a couple of doors up. You can order breakfast to your room, but I did not choose to do that this time. I will be back and I'm telling my friends the search for accomm in Rocky is over - stay at Glenmore Palms.

We had a major breakdown of our car. Managment shuffled things around to give us the same room for 5 nights. Thank you so very much appreciated.
Rooms are a good size, and very clean. Despite being on a busy road we didnt here any traffic. Bed is comfortable There is a lovely pool area as well. Parking at the door is handy. A huge bonus is that 2 minuets walk you will find a little shopping center. Drakes Supermarket, Pharmacy , and several take ways, also the Tavern who serve dinner.
Highly recommended.
