Good location, great bar and outside seating. Good value restaurant food, and in the middle of Rockhampton. Air Con in room, great value for money with nice clean shared facilities down the hall. I will definitely be back to stay at this great hotel in the future.

At the time of travel we paid a mere $34 for a double room in this quaint old building. Even though the rooms are shabby, dated and in definite need of a spruce up the room was clean as were the shared bathrooms. This hotel is in a prime location situated next to the river in very over priced Rockhampton....

We arrived at this resort today and were shocked. The outside of the hotel looked lovely and we were very excited. We checked in and weren't shown to our rooms. There was no lift so had to climb several flights of stairs in the dark as they didn't seem to be lit. The heat was horrendous their seemed to be...

Charming bar with good food and fair prices in a historic building. Friendly staff and good specials. We enjoyed a funny "bingo" night moderated by funny and generous "chef". Absolutely worth another visit soon.

Such an awesome night!! Partied out in the nightclub until and then crashed in the rooms upstairs afterwards - WAY cheaper than a taxi home! Could not have asked for a better setup. Was super easy to book the room online and simple to check in - didn't waste any time mucking about once we arrived :)

We ate here after being recommended by our motel. We were disappointed with the meals at the restaurant. They were priced quite highly and out steaks were not cooked as requested and we received an incorrect side. The had no lemon or lime. Really disappointed. Steak was good quality overall.

We ate in the Restaurant and found our meals ordinary, the 300gr rump was tough and the chicken Parma had been crumbed and fried with the skin on. On first impression the Parma looked huge however it was disappointing to find the actual chicken meat was quite thin. The glass of merlot tasted like the bottle had been opened a...

A few friends and I went there for dinner on a Saturday night. There weren't many other diners at the time. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a table, when there were plenty available. Whilst waiting we were asked to sit at the main bar for drinks of which the bar staff could not make cocktails advertised. Sick...

I have had weekday lunch's here on a number of occasions and have always received great service and a beaut value for money meal. Try a blackboard special, a steak or chicken schnitzel and drink for under ten dollars. Fast service!

Thank Robyn L

“I stayed in shared facilities and they were clean, plus the room was nice. Classic Hotel accommodation. Its a real shame that last week they closed the doors due to industry downturn and the most recent cyclone.”
