We had a brillant stay there. Everything was perfectly clean and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Kim is a great and friendly host!! The laundry facility is also very clean and Food and you will find sth to eat nearby.

The room was clean and hygienic. We were there to rest whilst travelling between Airlie Beach and the Gold Coast. Once the kids stopped their noisy behaviour outside (not the motel's fault) everything was quiet and after a take away dinner we went to bed. We had to leave early so we left quietly around 5:15 am. Key was put into the box. Thank you for a pleasant stay. The only thing we noticed that the bed was too wide to get the charger into the phone, we had to move the bed a little over so that we could use both electrical points.

Upon arrival, was greeted with rude attitude regarding my card declining as they were trying to charge before arrival. In which room booked to be charged on check in. Room was damp and smelly. Carpet, bedding and tiles in shower were damp. Shower rose above spa sprayed water everywhere except bath tub which made floors extremely slippery. Will not stay again.

Room had OVERPOWERING smell of air freshener even after leaving windows open for 2 hours. When complained to reception, told to switch on air conditioners. They didn’t work. When complained at reception, surly manager said “so you’re complaining because the room is too clean ?” To which I replied “ no, I’m complaining because it smells. We were offered another room upstairs where the air conditioners worked and that didn’t smell as bad. we were willing to overlook the hole in the wall above the tv.

It was raining when I arrived here and drove into their steep driveway... I try not to book ahead so that the motels do not lose money on booking sites. To be honest, the price as with many Australian motels may be a little high considering its competition. BUT I got great customer service here... And whilst the room probably needs an upgrade... I did have a really good night's sleep here. ( And the bathroom HAS been upgraded) My night here was quite good... I booked in, walked across the road to grab something to eat from the service station ( because being on a road trip I was tiring of eating out), and then caught up with a friend before going to bed at a reasonable time.

Noisy drunken neighbours.. No milk to make coffee with, No facial tissues, I expect more for $140. Other than that the room was okay, bed was comfortable. The hotel is right next to the main road so there is a bit of traffic noise.

lovely rooms with good amenities. Good customer service. Nice restaurant with a well priced menu and delicious food. Smoking area was well situated away from non smokers but close enough for smokers to relax and enjoy.

From the time we checked in until the time we left and everything in between this motel and the people with whom we came in contact with, that run the motel, was fabulous. We were given an early checkin due to personal circumstances and the managers empathy, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The bed was warm and comfortable. When we returned to the motel in the evening, cold, tired and hungry we were very grateful for the attached restaurant. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise with a diverse menu. The Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks were true comfort food. James our food server/host at the restaurant, was personality plus and a true asset to the hospitality of this business. Thank you Rocky Resort.
