Large clean amenities. Amenities are not suitable for walking aides to go in, but they also don’t claim to be. There is a handrail in one toilet. Toilets and showers are all clean and toilets well stocked. The grounds are also lovely. Camp kitchen only has cold water. Nice and quiet too. I would definitely recommend this park!

Arrived when dark but served promptly and accessed site very quickly. Because of this, we didn’t get a run down of where the toilets were and didn’t realize that the one closest to us was closed so went back and asked at reception. The bathroom facilities were probably the cleanest I have ever come across and the camp kitchen was well appointed. Was warned a couple of times of the youth crime in the area and to keep everything very secure. Apparently security roam during the night but we had no problems. Easy access code to enter and depart.

Southside holiday village is in a good location ! The park is clean and the gardens are kept good . Staff are always friendly . A good size swimming pool with shade . The amenities are kept clean . Good to see the use of security gates .

From the time the phone was answered the team were excellent. Very friendly. Helped with a villa where we had room to park with a boat. Very clean villas. Very comfortable beds. Big laundry facilities. Parked checked everyday for rubbish. Friendly caretakers driving around. Cute little ducks wandering around Would certainly recommend and will be going back ourselves. Close to everything you need .

Stayed over Easter to visit family who live locally. Very clean and spacious van spots with shade from trees. So noise (as next to main road), but able to sleep soundly. Ammenities spotless. Check in and out all online, reg updates by txt. Rocky Nats on over the Easter weekend, enjoyed walking the park looking at the old cars.

the team were the saving grace of this place. The worst place ever, i expect basic accom , i arrived at night gave them warning on when i would be there, got there no lights put on the box (as i called it) so i couldn't see a thing, thk god for the the other traveler who directed me, fridge not turned on & took next day to get cold, first sight was a cockaroach , lucky they had fly spray ,only a sliding door, no windows in the box and you couldn't leave the door opened for fresh air as the flyscreen door has no lock so the only air came from the A/C, so no breeze, air or light I am a fresh air and natural light person. I got up everyday feeling sick each morning and in the arvos as i had to have the A/C on to keep cool so i'm not sure, as this was the only time i felt unwell Other minor things, no place in the shower room to put your toiletries, no drawers in the other room (bedroom and dining) to put underwear, paper work whatever …

Returned to Southside Holiday Village for a third (?) visit. This time we had a spacious two-bedroom cabin that included a large lounge room with two lounges, fully equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, air conditioners in each bedroom plus one in the main living room. Lovely clean bathroom with large shower and plenty of water supply and pressure. Best of all was the most heavenly bed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ended up staying twice as long as originally planned.

Pool was amazing and partially covered to protect you from the sun. Toilets and showers beautifully clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend staying at this site. We were on a powered site with our camper van.

We've stayed here on powered sites quite a few times over the years using our G'Day membership. I couldn't believe the price we paid for a drive thru powered site at $51.30 and that was with a 10% membership discount. The most expensive place we stayed on our trip up north, we paid a lot less for a powered site at Hervey Bay and Kurrimine Beach and had a site near a beach. Sorry guys too expensive and will find another park to stay.

Driving from Caloundra to Townsville first place a saw on the right and I’d done my homework where I wanted to stay so very easy to find. The cabins were clean, the grounds are neat and tidy, and the staff are wonderful very very pleasant, the bed is comfortable would stay again when I bring our caravan through next time. It was perfect thank you lovely people.
