We've stayed at the hotel twice now and we will not be returning for a third time. It's such a shame as this hotel has amazing potential! It lacks management and is poorly run. We were part of a large group and I don't think one of us walked away without a complaint. The resort is tired and needs a...

Dear time2travel88, Thank you for giving us some specifics to work on and improve on. Our Spa Q is definitely amazing and what better way to start or finish your experience off than with breakfast at the renowned Bazaar Marketplace. We always feel all is not lost as there is always work to be done and your feedback helps us...

While the setting is very nice the overall services was lacking. My wife and I are from Cairns and have stayed here 1-2 times per year for the past 5 years. With each visit we have noticed it going down hill.. Sadly it was my wife's favorite resort but we wont be going back. Breakfast was once great, now poor...

Port Douglas can be deceptive for tourists as the main town is not near a lot of the resorts. We were aware of this and had a car so it is not a problem, but you need to keep in mind it's not walking distance to the town. It is quite a niche style of accommodation, the rooms were lovely,...

Dear ADVBP, We are chuffed that you had a nice time with us! Though our Bazaar Marketplace is a fixed price and not for everyone, we love the fact that our Estilo Lounge offers a substantial a la carte menu that our guests can relax at and enjoy great cocktails too! We look forward to seeing you at QT Port...

Good hotel overall not 5 * though as they like to bill, breakfast restaurant good, evening bar good but food not special, large rooms with sitting room small kitchen and good shower no bath though aircon in rooms very efficient - you do need that. Room cleaning not done every day and could be more efficient but overall Port Douglas...

Resort was okay. But service was lacking. Housekeeping was non existent, our room was serviced once in our five day stay, & only because we asked for it to be done, & even then it was the worst room cleaning i have ever seen. Bar fridge was not restocked with water, balcony was left with all the dead ants and...

Dear 125kiss, Thanks for your detailed feedback. It's quite a job dealing with the wonders of nature in the tropics so we sympathise with your comment about our exoskeleton friends. We have changed up how we do things in our house keeping department since you reviewed us and we would welcome an opportunity to show you a true QT experience....

Pros: -The lobby is nice and trendy. -Beautiful set up at breakfast buffet -fast and free wifi -friendly staff Cons: -Hotel rooms are old and cheaply furnished. There was a moldy/stale scent in the room which the staff tried to address when we complained, but the smell remained. They told us we could switch rooms but the other room smelled...

I was invited to stay at QT as part of a group of people going to Port Douglas for an event. As other reviewers have noted, it isn't a new hotel, but in the common areas (excluding the pool) in particular, there has been effort made to modernise it. The colour schemes are bright and in fitting with the Port...

The entrance to QT is impressive and so are the common dining areas but sadly, the rest of the resort (including the rooms) is in desperate need of a makeover.
