The Port Douglas Outrigger has a number of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and Penthouse apartments that are all fully self-contained - 'A home away from home' Under cover parking, pool side BBQ, FREE wireless internet, full tour desk and friendly, knowledgeable onsite management. The apartments are beautifully decorated and comfortably spacious, with full size kitchens (including microwave and dishwasher) and bathrooms (including washer and drier) Large lounge and dining area with large flat screen TV/DVD/CD/MP3 IPod dock, private balcony or patio. The Penthouse apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies and over look the pool. Newly refurbished with extremely large living areas they really are a treat! We had a fatnatic time at the hotel. Amanda and Peter are great hosts. The aparmtent was very good and had everything we needed. The pool and pool area were wanderful. It was just a short walk to the restaurants and shops in the very cosy town of Port Douglas. Great starting point for trips to the Reeves and rainforrest.

The apartment was very clean and fresh. Peter and Amanda were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Located very central to the beach and town and had all the facilities we required. Pool was lovely.

My sister, daughter and I stayed for a week. Peter and AManda sent us specific communication about late check in and greeted us the next day. We rented a 2 BR apartment, which was a little cramped for us. When I asked for another 1 BR, they provided a beautiful apt in the complex in addition. There are beach chairs to borrow, extra condiments to use; quiet, clean, lovely pool. Location is excellent. Can walk or bike everywhere. They also helped us book several tours. Extremely gracious hosts.

Amanda and Peter were fantastic hosts and were so attentive with all of our requests. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! It is also a great location, close to the town but away from the noise. We will definitely be returning and will recommend Outrigger apartments to all of our friends and family. We spent a week staying at the Outrigger. On arrival we met Amanda and Peter, who were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful during our entire stay. They supported us with booking all the different day trips and activities..including bara fishing that happened to be one of our favourites! We highly recommend the Outrigger Port Douglas, everything was immaculately clean, our apartment was all we could have wished for. The pool was superb and a nice way for us to relax after our day trips away. Looking forward to returning already! Thankyou so much Amanda and Peter.

Amanda and Peter were lovely hosts for our week long stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and the tours recommended and booked on our behalf were amazing! It suited our group perfectly, with the communal area a perfect spot for us to eat and relax together. Highly recommend!

My family spent 10 wonderful days at the Outrigger we especially loved the pristine heated pool and BBQ area set in a tropical garden with so many trees.The rooms are spacious spotlessly clean and well appointed for all your holiday requirements Amanda & Peter were extremely welcoming and helpful offering tips on booking trips and helpful tips like the prawn trawler is in today,but it’s the special extras that they give eg Amanda giving the kids ice poles by the pool hi fiving etc.Peter was observed carrying guests luggage from their vehicles to their rooms for those who required a little assistance Amanda &Peter are a delightful couple dedicated to making sure that the guests are well looked after and have everything to make sure a special holiday is enjoyable The community fridge and grocery items left by prior guests is also a unique feature greatly appreciated The Apartments are centrally located close to the shopping centre but in a quiet peaceful area.…

Where do I start with this venue? We stayed a week during the September school holidays and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we couldn’t believe how wonderful it was to be staying at the outrigger. Amanda and Peter are the most welcoming and accommodating people who showed us nothing but kindness, warmth and respect! We have 2 young children and it was absolutely perfect for them. My 2 kids also fell in love with Amanda and Peter, running to give them cuddles when they saw them each day! Our tour bookings were taken care of seamlessly by Amanda, the pool is clean, lovely and warm and our room was spacious, very clean and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing comfortable stay. The location of the venue is perfect. It’s close to Macrossan street, the beach and walking distance to all the happy hour hot spots! The outrigger was quiet, relaxing and very family friendly and we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when we return to Port Douglas! We already can’t wait to go back and we all miss Amanda and Peter already. 100% highly recommend! …
