Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Really lovely spot just out of Port Douglas. It's a bit too far to walk into town but they have a shuttle that you can take for $5. There is also the Beach Shack restaurant within walking distance as well as the golf club next door. The apartment was very well designed and appointed inside. The furniture was a cut above what you would normally expect in a holiday let like this and the big bath was a nice touch. Plenty of fans also means you don't need the air con all the time. Kitchen was well equipped, a couple of small changes would make it perfect: 1) Sharpen the knives or provide a knife sharpener 2) Provide essentials like salt, pepper, cooking oil. Maybe mixed herbs. 3) No chopping board!! 4) Please stop using tiny packets of washing up liquid. It's hugely wasteful and

We stayed here as it was walking distance to the Pullman Sea Temple Resort where we were guests at a wedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a hotel room which was clean and comfortable. There were no kitchen amenities however we had a kettle, a toaster, crockery and a Nespresso machine (bonus!!) to make our own breakfast. The resort is very quiet and well kept. The only minor issue we had was a lack of parking. Other than that, no complaints and we'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Paradise Links for three nights and had a very enjoyable stay! We were in a one bedroom apartment which was comfortable, spacious, light filled and fully equipped for a short break. The check in process was very easy and the staff were lovely (especially Pauline). You do need a car (or I think there's a shuttle) to get into town which is 5km away but we had planned for this so it was no issue. Would stay again!

Great facilities for a family holiday. Two bathrooms which is great for a family. All the kitchen amenities needed to make a quick dinner and breakfast instead of eating out helping to keep costs down. Walking distance to four mile beach and good restaurants near by. The facilities are great- feels like staying in a tropical oasis with 2 pools and tennis courts, plus a BBQ!

Hi As a couple we enjoyed our stay at Paradise Links, staff were very friendly place was well kept grounds were very well maintained. Our only criticism would be the bed was not very comfortable probably needed updating otherwise all good. location requires car rental as closest basic shop is 5 min drive but the township is 20mns nothing else really in walking distance. otherwise all good.

Loved being just out of the town. Shuttle bus at your door within 5-7minutes of calling to take you into town and back. Purchase a pass( we did a 5 day pass). Resort booked the tours we were interested in and quite happily refilled our condiment supply, laundry detergent and bathroom requirements. Receptionists were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Great facilities, very clean ( a must for me). Will definitely return...

Had a lovely stay here with out family for a week. Out of town, a 5 km walk in - but lovely along beach. Villas are dated but very spacious with good furniture. Very friendly helpful staff who can’t do enough for you. Very happy to meet the maintenance man who advised us of 5e ‘warm ‘ pool which was great. Good facilities- tennis and golf, a short walk to beach. If you have a car - no hassle getting into town...close to supermarkets and also there is bike hire..

We had a great week in Port Douglas staying at such a fantastic resort with easy walking distance to the beach. Our villa was very clean, tidy and spacious, with a garage - a home away from home with everything we needed. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again!

We had a lovely 8 days at this resort. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a two bed villa. We were very impressed with villa, beautiful views upstairs, villa well equipped and tastefully decorated. Nice patio to eat outside. Resort has two lovely pools, staff are very friendly and resort and villa was very clean. Would absolutely recommend this resort.
