The value for money is amazing! I had a hotel style room booked (Links Room) & I was delighted to find that it was right by the amazing pool. The pool is open until 9pm, so I recommend floating on your back and looking to the stars. So peaceful! The bathroom is huge & the room is comfortable & spotless. Such a great place to end a long trip.
We booked what we believed was an "apartment" only to arrive to a motel room which was so small two of us could not be at the end of the bed together. The bathroom to be fair was good. There was no screen door on the slider so no fresh air available cause if you opened the door you invited all the mozzies and midgees in to play. We paid $4,600 for 17 nights - our friends in other complexes paid around $2000 for much larger rooms and apartments for the same amount of time. We booked here due to proximity to the golf course, BIG MISTAKE. Cleaned every 5 days, given 2 towels of poor quality only, so if you wash your hair your husband suddenly has a wet towl to use. You actually have to go and ask for additional towels over the 5 day period. The carpet in our room was so worn it was pulling away from the tiles. 3 coat hangers only - lucky I brought my own. You basically have to keep the air conditioner going due to the screen door not being installed so if you dont like sleeping with aircon, bad look here.…
We last stayed here 2012 and when a fantastic deal came up on NRMA Travel, couldn’t resist. We still loved it after 10 years, it is a gated resort that is kept in wonderful condition, just as good as 10 years ago. The rooms were really clean and a breakfast hamper was included with the dealWe had a one bedroom apartment and although not the most modern, funky furnishings, we loved being there, the pool is so relaxing and the bit we loved the best, a walkway to the Sea Temple Golf course next door which has to be one of the best we’ve visited. The club house is so relaxing, sitting on the verandah enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains and the course whilst we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches. MyQldHOliday have deals for next year, we will be very tempted to stay again. Loved Port Douglas and all the inclusions they gave us in our package, especially the Wildlife Habitat where you can revisit every day for free if you want to. When it came time to leave we didn’t want to go, although we were going to Cairns for 2 nights which was really nice as well, but a different vibe to Port, much busier in Cairns, it was also start of the QLD school holidays.…
Wonderfully tropical location throughally enjoyed our 2 week stay in a self contained Apartment and all the benefits will certainally come back in the future. Please let me know of any future packages.Thank You Kind Regards Laurie. Branston
Very pleasant rooms although a tad small Facilities consisted of quality adjoining Golf Course, 2 pools, BBQ area and shuttle bus to Port Douglas proper. also easy walk to Four Mile Beach Staff excellent and nothing was an issue at all Recommend
Booked this so called resort through My Queensland, i should have investigated better so partly my fault. There is no restaurant or bar. The room we got was very basic, there was not even a lounge, no cooking facilities either. Our stay was far too long. Had to catch a shuttle into Port Douglas.
What a beautiful relaxing resort! Everything is perfect. Comfortable, clean and super quiet. The pool is really pretty and the water cascading over the rocks flows all night. A peaceful sound. I really hope to be back. No safe in room and a bit out of town so you might need a car.
Paradise Links is a great resort, perfect for families, couples and of course golfers. There is a choice of pools and only 7 minutes walk to the famous 4 Mile beach. Apartments are well-maintained and offer full kitchen/dining facilities. Had a connecting 1 bedroom apartment and hotel suite - perfect for two singles or families. There is a local pub, bottle shop and IGA, all walkable, or you are less than 10 minutes to downtown Port Douglas where there are numerous restaurants pubs, supermarkets, shopping.
My family and I together with a group of friends have just stayed at Paradise Links. It is a lovely tropical looking resort with two beautiful pool areas, tennis courts/basketball ring and bbq areas. The resort has a friendly secure feeling. Our apartment was spacious, had a fantastic view and suited our needs. We also loved that the pool area had toys and you could get basketballs and tennis equipment from reception free of charge. The apartment could however do with an update/good clean/refresh. It may also be worth updating the resort info booklet in the apartment as we found the office hours weren't as listed and the two booklets we had gave different advice regarding a mid week clean which we never received/were offered. Would also be nice to have an onsite food option, but there is no shortage of choice in the heart of Port Douglas. The resort is out of town but there is an option of a shuttle bus and plenty of hire cars available as well as bikes to hire. Honestly we absolutely loved our stay and would be happy to return!…
I got a package deal to stay at Paradise Links and stayed with my husband in a one bedroom apartment for five nights. As others have commented, the resort is not particularly well serviced - the desk is often not attended (though they asked our arrival time and someone was there when we arrived) and no one cleaned our room while we were staying (which is totally fine with me but so you know) and the only problem was there was only one roll of toilet paper when we arrived so we had to buy more (we tried to front desk to ask but it was closed.) WIFI was also not working when we stayed. The room was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. As part of the package deal we got some other inclusions including tickets to a wildlife park, however the person at reception didn't know about this and was quite dismissive when we asked about how to get it. However, the apartment was really nice, had a great balcony, decent amount of space, comfortable bed and quiet. We were really happy with it considering what we paid with the deal and had a nice holiday in Port D comfortable at Paradise Links. It's a short drive into town, and the security gates work well so on the whole we were happy with it. The pool area is nice too and we had one day of relaxing around the pool reading books- the area was clean and well kept. I would stay there again as it was good for what it is- comfortable accommodation, nice pool, good location, not a luxury resort.…
