Lychee Tree Holiday Apartments is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Port Douglas. We offer an affordable alternative for those looking for quality accommodation and great personal service. The Lychee Tree is a friendly, relaxing apartment complex which welcomes everyone. The Lychee Tree has a gorgeous salt water resort pool, with comfortable sun lounges beside swaying palms. We are within walking distance to the famous 4 Mile Beach and the Port Douglas Village Centre with a broad offering of excellent restaurants, bars, boutique shops, markets and the Marina. We also offer free undercover on-site parking. We have complimentary WiFi and an extensive range of free DVD’s for your enjoyment. We offer lovely 1 and 2 bedroom self-contained apartments with separate bedrooms, open plan dining and lounge area, small but full kitchens, private bathrooms with laundry and a private patio or balcony. Our apartments are comfortable, air-conditioned and have all of the facilities required for an enjoyable holiday in Port Douglas. The Lychee Tree is the perfect accommodation for a holiday or base to explore the surrounding natural wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge and the Daintree National Park or while touring Australia. There are also many fantastic active experiences and attractions in the area to enjoy. There is a tour desk on site and we are happy to provide unbiased, tried and tested advice.

A fantastic base of operations for our family holiday to North Queensland. We had multiple parties with children and across three affordable apartments we had plenty of space and amenities to have meals at home when we wished, use the pool every day, and wake up knowing we didn’t have to rush around because we had a kitchen, lounge and dining area all to ourselves whenever we needed. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to the Main Street of Port Douglas, including supermarket, restaurants, the marina and of course the beach. It’s also a short drive to the highway to access other parts of North Queensland such as Mossman Gorge and the drive up to Cape Tribulation. One member of our party had accessibility issues which was no problem considering our apartments were on the ground floor, as was the pool and parking areas for the cars. our unit was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and peacefully quiet. We enjoyed the outside dining patio among the tropical gardens. Very pleasant hosts. The covered parking for our car was an added bonus as we were able to leave it while we were out for the day.

We were happy with our choice at Lychee Tree. Apartment was comfortable and had everything you needed. Pool was good. Location perfect and only a short walk to beach and Main Street. Great choice for the price. We would recommend this as a good place for a family to stay.

A great place to stay within a nice walking distance to centre of PD plus easy access to the beach. Great amenities onsite, everything we needed and easy to prepare meals in the apartment as all the utensils are on hand. Our apartment was rejuvenated tastefully and was nice and quiet. Pool area was a lovely place to relax after a big day on the reef. Thanks Edward and Leo (and thanks for showing the Easter Bunny where to leave the haul!) :) We will definitely stay again.

Adequate accomodation very poor car parking no shower pressure but beds were super nice little unit in a pretty setting and very quiet and selcluded area , bit far from town for old blokes like me to walk but young people wouldn’t have a problem

We stayed three nights in the most basic room and it was perfect for our family of four. Lots of space for everyone, good working air con and very clean and tidy. Kids games and puzzles were a lovely touch. Highlight was definitely the pool. Beautiful temperature including a shallow end that was great for our 3 and 4 year olds. The complimentary use of kids pool toys meant hours of fun for our family. A good location, a little out from the town centre but a one minute drive to the marina and a two minute drive to the Main Street. We would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

We spent a wonderful 10 days at Lychee Tree Apartments. The apartment was a Standard 2 bedroom. Very well appointed, comfortable, and very clean. Leo and Edward were very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. We highly recommend and are planning on returning next year.

We have stayed at Lychee Tree a few times. We love it here. Its a short walk or even quick shuttle bus trip to town. The accommodation is clean and tidy with all that we need. I accidentally broke the handle on the microwave and it was replced with a new one immediately. There is a lovely pool, with pool toys, seating and a BBQ area. Its a great place to relax in the sun and read a book, while the children can play in the pool. There is a campi site next door, but Ihave never heard asound from there. It is always very quiet and peaceful. We cant wait to come up again.

The accommodation was excellent. It very clean, tidy and plenty of room to lounge around. Edward and Leo were excellent hosts. The location was excellent, only a few minutes to the town center by car or if you prefer to walk 10 - 15 munutes.
