Part of our FNQ getaway after driving down from Cooktown. Port Douglas is a very different vibe. We enjoyed accommodation - clean and no fuss. Good parking. Used the pool a few times. Used front desk to book a snorkeling tour and the discount was worthwhile. Can recommend local seafood if you want to cook a mean at home. Would stay again. Large screen TV was a bonus while the 2024 Olympics were on.

My wife and I stayed in for 7 nights in Jan. We opted for a walk in rate option as we were in Cairns previously. I'm so glad after looking at other properties in PD I decided to go and enquire. Treveen gave me a fabulous walk in rate for a 2 Bedroom apartment. Compared to other properties we viewed this was far by the bigger. It had everything you could ask for, spacious and clean. The Terraces was spotless, 3 pools and a comunional BBQ. Pool towels changed daily if required. 2 min walk to stroll to the Beach and a 5 min stroll to the main street. It also has underground parking. I have stayed in PD on many occasions and will definatly stay here again.
One very minor negative is no Wi-Fi in the room only in close proximaty to the lobby. Especially when your supplied with a smart TV. Cheap option would be to put plug in Wi-Fi extenders in the rooms.
Thanks again for a fab relaxing stay.

Thank you very much for your lovely review, we do appreciate it and hope to see you up this way again very soon! We are looking at installing a WIFI system to the rooms this year, unfortunately, due to the amount on concrete in the building extenders do not work. Best wishes, Treveen

My partner and I have stayed at Beach Terraces many times. Over the years our family and friends have joined us. We always find the spacious apartments to be very clean and it’s great to have a washing machine and drier. The location is perfect for us, being able to walk to the beach and main street. Treveen and George are always very friendly and helpful hosts. The pools are great and it never feels busy and crowded. The bbq area which we often use is always kept spotless. We have already planned our next holiday here in beautiful Port Douglas.

The apartment was large with plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The apartments are a little dated but are very clean and tidy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We used the outdoor bbq area most days and noticed the barbecues were immaculately clean each time. The location is almost unbeatable - easy walking distance (with toddlers) to the Surf Club, 4 Mile Beach and Macrossan St. The managers are friendly and helpful and seem to be doing everything right!

We took a two bedroom apartment and found it excellent. Location close to the beach and Macrossan Street was very welcome and we found the managers to be always wanting to help. The BBQ is a lovely and well maintained facility. The three pools are great and saved us on really hot days. Wecan't recommend it more highly than to say my wife is repeating the experience in a couple of months with her mother.

We really enjoyed our week staying at Beach Terraces. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed, including cooking equipment for nights we wanted to cook at home. The apartments are very well located, about a two minute walk to the beach and five minute walk to cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. We definitely plan to stay here again. Thanks Beach Terraces for a great week!

This is now our 10th stay here and we honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. We travelled with 3 families this year and the facilities were just perfect for such a large group. The rooms were spacious and clean and wanted for nothing. We had 1 x 3 bedroom and 2 x 2 bedroom units for 14 people and we couldn't have been happier. The pools were fantastic for both the adults and kids, as was the BBQ area. Its only a very short walk to the beach and the Surf Club along with the restaurants in the main street. We cant wait to go back as a large group again next year. A big thanks to the managers, George and Traveen for again making us feel so welcome.

We checked in yesterday and are here for a week.
When we come up here, we always ask for Unit 21 which is a 2 bedroom apartment.
However, when I picked up the keys yesterday, there was a note advising that unfortunately Unit 21 was having some renovations done and that we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment.
Well, when we opened the door to this apartment, it was absolutely HUGE. It could easily accommodate 3 couples due to it's size. Even the balcony was massive.
Great location and only a minute walk to the beach or Macrossan St.
The host Traveen, is a very friendly and helpful lady and I would recommend Beach Terraces to anyone that is coming up to Port Douglas for a holiday.

We stayed here for a week in January 2023. The accomodation was very spacious with two seperate bedrooms and bathrooms. All neccessary items were supplied for self catering. The living room area was large with a small balcony off it which was lovely for having breakfast. The apartment was airconditioned and the beds were extremely comfortable. A few of the fixtures were a little tired but nothing that in any way detracted from our stay. There are a couple of pools although we only used the one at the front which was never crowded. The location is a five minute walk from the beach and around 10-15 mins from the main shopping and restaurant area. We had a lovely week and would definitely stay there again.

Our apartment was a 2-bedroomed apartment on the top floor of Beach Terraces. The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped had everything we needed.
There are 3 pools that are perfect for kids, serious lap swimmers, and lagoon-style relaxing.
Traveen was very understanding and accommodating as we had no idea until the last minute if we would be able to travel due to Covid restrictions.
These apartments have no lift so if stairs are an issue make sure to ask for an apartment on the ground floor.

Hi we are very close to the town centre, less than a 5 minute walk.
Hello,
I'm sorry but we are one block back from the beach so you will not hear the sea of a night time.
Kind regards
Treveen
