We were both very happy with our stay at these apartments. The location is excellent providing us with a daily short walk to the Main Street and four mile beach. The apartment on the first floor was well stocked and comfortably furnished . The management truly made the difference we felt like family within the first day and were so relaxed that it felt like home. A huge thank you to Rodney, Glenys, Emma and Darcy for your care , friendly manner and recommendations on places to go for tours and food. You were on the mark each time. We will most certainly come often ….unit 23 thumbs up . Look forward to seeing you again

This place was great value! Well managed, excellent location, really nice pool and comfortable apartments with big balconies. I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with my wife and 2 little ones and we had a ball.

Very clean, reasonable location, great pool, good value. It was a pretty usual holiday apartment. Clean well laid out. Pool was a great size and there was a great communal bbq. Good parking. Walking distance to main strip (25-20mins) and 4 mile beach (5-10mins). My gripe was that some or all apartments are privately owned. Normally no issue but there were young workers living there in groups. They were up at 5am heading off to work. Nothing wrong with that but the transfer of noise as per usual holiday apartments was not great. So those on holiday had to put up with the early morning exits and also noisy return from ‘after work drinks’. They were lovely people just going about their lives but it’s worth mentioning I think.

We had two rooms from 3 April to 7 April. Rooms are large and light. Very Gold Coast 90,s. Lovely pool and clean well presented cooking area near the pool. The rooms need some attention, no coat hangers, spa jet bath did not work, fan on the balcony did not work and finally but needs to highly considered, there is and has been construction work next door for four years! The builders commence at 7-15 to 7-30am. This should be advised at the time of booking.

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment it was very spacious, we loved sitting out on the balcony at night having drinks. The pool was a great size and good temperature for pool water. It was a 10 minute walk to Macrossan street which is the Main Street full of restaurants, shops & cafes.

This great accommodation is located a short 10-15 min walk to the main street. Its really only about 2 - 3 blocks away. Provides under cover parking with street parking also available. We stayed in a clean and tidy 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom apartment - 2 adults and 2 kids. This was roomy enough for us, one bathroom is within the bedroom and has a spa. The other room is slightly smaller with a bathroom right outside its door. Kitchen is quite compact but definitely useful, only has the bare essentials, fridge is small but big enough for holiday makers and has a freezer section with ice cube tray. Small dishwasher is a bonus. Coles is in the main street so you can stock up on some goodies. Cooktop works well, but there is no oven. A convection microwave oven is provided. We had a balcony overlooking the pool area. Dining table and chairs, 2 and 3 seater lounge with coffee table in front of smart tv. Netflix is available on the smart tv, but you will need to have your own active account. Free wifi is available and automatically logs you out every 2 hours, but its no trouble to log back in. 5.5kg washing machine and small drier is in the apartment, along with iron, iron board, broom and mop. Rooms are supplied with limited toilet paper, washing detergent etc. Byo or grab some from Coles. Aircon works well, 1 in kitchen/lounge area and 2 bedrooms both have their own air conditioner and ceiling fan. Only 1 went below 22 degrees to 18 degrees but it was ok for us. Management are very friendly, informative and helpful. The pool was truly amazing, its such a great size, water was nice and warm in Jan, spa is also a good size and deeper than usual and has a lot of seating. Waterfall feature of pool is lovely. The decorative lights come on at night time and really add great ambiance to the area. BBQ's are available poolside, along with a small bar fridge and bbq utensils. There is one poolside toilet. Approx 3 wooden tables with chairs by the pool that we often dined at, along with ample sundeck chairs. Across the road is a public basketball court behind the closed tennis court. Byo ball though. No shade on court area so can get warm quickly. Great restaurants are a short walk away with the local surfclub even closer - great location and yummy food. For bargain hunters, op shop is in the next street open most days til 4pm, fridays til 3pm. Drop off any outgrown clothes or toys. Target is in the main street and you can pick up a pool noodle for $3 also beach toys etc. You will definitely need insect/mosquito repellent, sunscreen and your hat. Byo pack of cards or uno cards and enjoy!

This self-catering accomm is pretty solid for the price. I booked well out and got a super good deal. It's in a great location just 5-8 mins walk into town. Very quiet although there were some rowdy guests in other rooms who luckily wound down as per the hotel's policy of being respectful after 9pm. One downfall is that the bed isn’t a real queen but two singles pushed together which always irritates me even though i know for practical reasons this is how some places work. Having said this, it was still fairly comfortable. not providing a beach towel seems odd at a beach location - this should be complimentary. Wifi is fine - fairly fast and only occasional outages. In brief also: Kitchen is well equipped; nice outlook from balcony; laundry facilities are a bonus; shower is super powerful. Furniture could be simpler (velour couches in warm climate seems counter intuitive!). All in all, I'd recommend it but there are many other options so also shop around a bit.

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my husband and our 13 year old daughter. Apartment was a really good size and was equipped with everything we needed. There was a balcony facing out towards the pool. Was an easy walk into town, although a bit far when carrying groceries so we used the rental car a few times for those trips. Very quick walk to beach. I did find the construction next door to be a bit annoying but understand that this was outside the control of the managers. I also found the noise from the pool a bit loud - however I’m sure if you had small children it wouldn’t be an issue. Just depends on the places your used to staying at:). Pool was a good size with plenty of sun loungers. All in all a good stay.

We stayed in a 2 bed for a week. Ideal location close to beach and short walk into town. Excellent, large, clean pool and bbq facilities. Lots of seating around Pool and the pool gets lots of sunlight. Apartment was great - clean and had all the things required to cook etc. The managers were very friendly and very accomodating. Would definitely recommend this place. There was some construction going on next door which the managers indicated was happening sporadically and they were true to their word - it wasn’t an issue.

I booked this hotel with Expedia. When I got here the first disappointment was the back room facing the road with noisy cars. The front door is faulty and I cant close it properly. The second night the neighbours had a party and there was no one to silent them down, not to mention that the house next door is under construction and YOU CANT RELAX at the pool at all! The noise its too loud of drilling and banging! You can see the photo below with construction behind the pool. My holiday turn into a nightmare and it's non refundable. The owner at reception was very rude and didnt take in consideration the fact that I was obviously upset. Please make yourself the favour not to book here because you will throw your money ending up extremely unsatisfied! Thank you for reading.

We are disappointed that we were not aware of this prior to check out as we would have gladly relocated you to another area of the resort. Kind regards The Central Plaza Team
