Really well located a short walk to Macrossan Street restaurants or the beach. Accommodations are pretty basic but clean. Bed is comfortable, shower small, frig and microwave handy. Pool area is lovely. The reason to stay here is the terrific managers who sincerely want you to enjoy your time in the area and help you plan your time here. Be...

We stayed 18 nights. We booked well in advance for a good price. Really good room. Well laid out overlooking pool. Nicely kept grounds and excellent quiet location. The onsite managers are friendly but tired, and it shows. Also be aware you won't have your room serviced unless you pay extra. You won't get extra toilet paper, tea, milk etc which...

Had an enjoyable 5 night stay here with my handicapped son. It ticked all the boxes for us. We had cooking facilities when needed and a nice barbecue area. It is walking distance to restaurants, beach, supermarket and so on. We had a balcony overlooking the pool, so was pleasant to have drinks and meals outside. Place is very quiet...

We stayed here for 4 nights in August. The owners are very friendly and helpful with booking any trips or tours or any advice in general about amenities in the area. There was a nice pool and communal barbaque area which we used to cook dinner one night. The location is perfect, literally a short stroll less than 5 minutes...

The apartments were very close to the main part of town, so walking into town was very easy. The apartment was clean & well appointed, although the kitchenette was extremely small. No bench space, and nowhere to store our own small amount of food-items. The loo paper was so thin you could almost see through it! We spoke to others...

Booked several months ago to this well priced and well located resort. Rooms were very clean and had everything required. No daily service of the rooms unless you want to pay extra but that was no problem for us. Tea and coffee was also not replaced daily. My only problem was that I think the no smoking on premises policy...

Nice and central location. Apartment was clean and well presented, although kitchenette very small and could do with more storage space. Pool is very nice and clean as is is the pool deck and barbecue area. Management helpful and accommodating.

Chic it is not, glamorous it is not, but it is perfect in every other way. The apartment met all of our needs for our 9 day stay. Great shower, air con, huge comfortable bed and more than adequate kitchenette. Free WiFi, in room safe and secure car parking added to the experience. As you walk out of the apartments...

A week in far north Queensland with no kids just what the Dr ordered. We arrived on Monday afternoon it was fairly easy to find the Port Douglas Retreat just off the main road and staggering distance from town the manager was very friendly he showed us where to park, (The car park is small and not designed for larger...

We were presently surprised at the Port Douglas Retreat. It is definitely not the fanciest of apartments that you can stay in, however we thought it ample for what we needed. The room was medium size and spotless, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our apartment had a balcony that looked over the pool and beautiful tropical gardens. What...
