We have just stayed at Cayman Villas for a week and it was bliss. The heated pool is fabulous for adults & kids (we have a 2 & 4 y.o. and the shallow area was excellent for kids playing & adults sitting). We were in a 3 bedroom apartment, it was very spacious, lots of sunshine & great balcony. Location of property is superb - in the heart of Port Douglas with 5 min walk to beach, few mins up to main st, and 5-10 mins to marina. Everyone staying in the property was delightful & management were really nice. FYI to potential future guests basic supplies aren't part of the accom so you'll need to buy dishwashing tablets, laundry powder, olive oil etc. Would be great if this was provided.

This place is pure luxury. Sparkling clean infinity pool. Close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The best part about this property is it’s location. Originally we were thinking about staying a few km’s south of Macrossan st. But after staying at Cayman Villas we were so glad we chose this place to stay. It’s literally a hop, step and jump from everything including the beautiful beach. Thanks Cayman for making this stay so memorable and enjoyable for my family.

Fantastic Property! Conveniently located with a 2 minute walk to the Main Street, 5 minute walk to Coles and a 5 min walk to the best beach in town. Also, only a short stumble home from the best cocktail lounge in town (Jimmy Rums) 😆 Friendly, safe and clean neat little coastal town. Pool area is great for the kids and couples. Property has some water toys and a large BBQ area so you can cook and eat without having to leave the poolside. Big Spa at the pool for couples to enjoy once the kids are in bed! Stayed in Villa #27 three bedrooms, great for the family to have space. Looks to have been recently renovated, clean and neat with fantastic dining table, comfortable couch, small sofa bed and a few tvs. Management was friendly and easy to deal with. Will certainly return again in future when we visit Port Douglas. Would highly recommend. …

This property is just fabulous and the location is perfect. We stayed with two adult children in a 3 bedroom apartment for 7 nights. The apartment was HUGE and very well equipped. All bedrooms and living area are airconditioned and we were super comfy throughout our stay. Open plan kitchen and living area were all well equipped and large, plus there was another table and couch out on the balcony, overlooking the pool. The owners are delightful, the pool warm and very clean (I swam laps every morning - a real treat) and there are only 27 apartments and well insulated glass doors, so it's also a pretty quiet oasis even if your apartment overlooks to pool. 8pm curfew on the pool was pretty well observed. The location is superb. Two streets and less than 5 mins from Macrossen St (which has about 50 restaurants and a coles supermarket), 3 minutes from Five Mile Beach and less than 10 mins walk from the Marina, there isn't much you can't walk to from Cayman Villas. The property is self catering, so only serviced once or twice a week but that didn't bother us at all. Had read lots of great reviews about Caymen Villas and it lived up to every one of them. Other good things - undercover parking, pool towels provided, full laundry, umbrellas (!), in room pod coffee machine, plasticware for drinking around the pool and lots of tourist brochures in the office.…

Apartment: The apartment is very well set up. There is an open plan living area, large balcony with a dining table to enjoy meals on and a fully operational kitchen. We were there over the Christmas period so was great to cook together as a family. The bedrooms are all spacious. It has a washing machine and a separate clothes dryer. The view from our balcony was the pool which and the apartment grounds which is lined with palm trees. It was beautiful. Me and my family were very happy with the apartment. Apartment facilities: Pool: There is a nice large pool in the center of the apartment block. It felt like it was heated with water temp in the 20’s. So you could stay in the pool for long periods of time. It was a nice social area as well. Lots of friendly people to chat with and a nice spot for kids to make friends as well. BBQ: at the pool there was a BBQ, in fact there are 2 of them. They are undercover and there is a table and chairs there as well if you wish to eat next to the pool. It’s got all the necessary utensils as well to make your BBQ feast. And short walk back to your apartment balcony to enjoy your food if you so wish. Likewise there is a fridge next to the pool if you wish to have some drinks down there. Car Park: I had a Landcruiser Prado which is a reasonably large car. There was undercover, underground, secure parking so you don’t need to worry about your car. It was a little tight but manageable. If the car park was full you’d need to make sure that if you had a large car the cars next to your parking spot are smaller. The managers of the apartment were very helpful and friendly so if any issues with parking I get the impression they’d be able to help out. Also keep in mind as it’s a holiday apartment block some people will stay there without cars and most families would have maximum of 1 car so shouldn’t be an issue. Location: Perfect. It was a few minutes walk to the Main Street of Port Douglas which is full of great cafes, restaurants, bars, clothes shops and a coles supermarket. Also there is a butcher and liquor stores. Likewise it’s only a few minutes walk to 4 Mile Beach. I think other than having a sea view you couldn’t get a better location. Service: the apartments are managed by a really nice and friendly couple. They were helpful whenever I required something. Things to note: it’s not a hotel so it’s self service. So for example there isn’t daily cleaning of your apartment and those kinds of services that you’d get in a hotel. However if you know that and are happy with that then you’ll be fine. Overall: it’s a wonderful holiday apartment. We had a mixture of a young baby and my great grandfather who is almost 100 along with my parents and sister. Everyone enjoyed it and thought the location was perfect. We’ve fond memories and would gladly stay there again. Port Douglas has an excellent climate in my opinion. There was a mixture of beautiful tropical showers and sea breezes and sunny days. Never got too hot or cold. In the evenings you’d get a cool breeze. I loved Port Douglas and thoroughly enjoyed Cayman Villas.…

Wonderful 3 bedroom apartment. Clean, fresh, modern and comfortable. Location was fantastic too. Would recommend to anyone. Perfect for groups and families. Great outdoor balcony space and fabulous amenities. Pool was beautiful too. There was a communal bbq in the pool area but my only suggestion, a WeberQ on the balcony! Staff were great.

Fantastic central place to stay in Port Douglas! Family of 4 (2 teenagers). We were after a location close to shops, beach and mariner as we did not want to hire a car. We were after a week of relaxation and certainly had this at the Cayman Villas. Our 3 bedroom apartment ticked all the boxes for us. Very spacious, extremely clean, everything you could need in the kitchen (containers to store food etc), laundry (clothes horse, machine, dryer), beautiful patio (wonderful comfy day bed and another dining table). Everything has been thought of! We had apartment 10 (second level) which overlooked the pool. Pool can get a bit noisy with kids etc but that didn’t worry us at all as there are rules as to when you can use the pool (8am - 8pm), everyone respected these. Lee is most helpful at reception if you need. Housekeeping is great (especially given the challenges faced at the moment with supplies etc). It’s the little things that make this place paradise. Never did we hear housekeeping noise (vacuuming etc). Pool is maintained beautiful and you don’t realise this as all done quietly before 8am. Rooms are really sound proof - can’t hear any noise from above or next door. Air conditioners in every room with fans. Layouts are great with bedrooms at the back of apartment so super quiet at night. The gardens are just beautiful! Will be back again for sure!…

Stayed for 8 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool what a great place to stay. Clean spacious great pool bbq area and staff are just fabulous am booking to restaurant again next year. Close to everything Highly recommend!!!!

We were meant to go to Bali but I had pneumonia and COVID so medical advice ruled out overseas travel. As a result we looked at the last moment for accommodation at Port Douglas, and the only available space was here. What a stroke of luck that was! We had a ground floor unit with a balcony looking over the pool but sheltered from view by lush vegetation. The two bedroom unit was spacious and very well appointed with a full kitchen and laundry. The whole place is well maintained. It is an easy walk to both the shops (it is self catering only) and the beach. There is BBQ area by the pool that always looked immaculate. Each unit gets secure under cover parking. It is certainly the place we will stop again as and when we go to Port Douglas.
