Anthony and Andre are THE best hosts. We cannot say enough good things about them: met our every need, want and desire in a professional and friendly manner. Extremely accommodating, informative, helpful, cheeky, funny, superbly genuine kind people, providing excellent service, outstanding breakfast and coffee with interesting conversations to make you feel accepted and comfortable even if you're a little bit more naughty than nice, like us. We had a quiet relaxed experience the entire time. The resort is beautiful, authentic Balinese, with nice and clean rooms with breathtaking views. The units are well equipped and a luxury to everyone (if you complain about this place you have baggage you should have left at home). We never return to the same place twice but Mai Tai Mossman will see us again and again and again. Cannot wait to go back! We would definitely recommend and cannot give enough accolades.

We spent 10 days with Anthony & Andre at Mai Tai and could have spent another 10 . They kept us watered and fed throughout our stay and even orphaned for Christmas Day putting on a big feed and making us feel more than part of their family. The location is fantastic , just a short drive to town and the accomodation itself was comfortable , classy and unique just like the guys themselves. We will be back!

What a wonderful place to stay! A Balinese feel to this perfect retreat high in the hills, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, yet only 15 mins from Pt Douglas and 10 mins into Mossman for dinner. The rooms are lovely, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious and Andre (Antony was away) is the best host....informative, friendly, warm and considerate. We are already thinking about which friends we can take with us next time. Absolutely 5 stars.

We stay at Mai Tai Resort for 3 nights. The whole experience was amazing. Serenity guaranteed thanks to be in the middle of the mountains (short drive to Mossman and Port Douglas) The space is beautifully decorated and the hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Andre recommended us great restaurants around and found lots of info for us to continue our travels. It was very sad having to leave

When you book a place with ratings and reviews this high, you're sometimes left wondering whether it could be that good. Well, frankly, it is. When you enter the steep driveway and ascend you quickly feel as though you're moving into another world; a special place in the tree tops. You are greeted by the friendliest hosts possible and taken to a meticulously clean and beautifully decorated room with all mod cons. Then you take in the spectacular views and immediately settle in as though you've been there for days amongst the palm trees and orchids. A sumptuous breakfast on the deck with Sunbirds and beautiful butterflies all around you is almost an experience money can't buy. Then after breakfast you find that your room has been cleaned and beds made with what could only be described as military precision. Very easy access to Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree, plus your hosts will advise you on the best local choices for food and adventures - and I highly recommend you take their advice! A very special place that we feel very privileged to have experienced. Cannot recommend it too highly.
