Had an absolutely lovely stay at the Reef Club Resort!! Lea, Joe & Sharon were so hospitable!! Recommended so many wonderful things to do which we wouldnt of otherwise knew about! Love the resort... beachy spanish vibes...had everything you need! Large pool and surrounded by trees, so peaceful. Right across the road from the beach and just a stones throw away into town. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!!

Loved my stay here with my bestie. We just wanted somewhere to chill out and relax. Perfect place for that. Beautiful pool area with plenty of sun to work on our tans. Amazing beach just out the backdoor for long walks and close to town to plenty of wonderful eateries. Clean and neat. Sad to leave tomorrow but will be back.

Thank you for the lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us at The Reef Club. Yes a wonderful place to chill out and relax, especially by our beautiful pool in our lovely tropical gardens. One of the best times of the year to come and enjoy the beautiful Port Douglas with all the amazing weather we have had. See you again when you need to relax again.

Thank you for your review. As you booked through Booking.com you were given their rate. Calling direct would have given you a cheaper rate. We knew nothing about you being a local until you arrived and checked in. We are onsite and available 24/7 and actually came down as soon as you called to check you in. The room was not dirty as management had personally checked it. As you know there is a phone to pick up outside reception for any problems, enquiries or complaints as you used it on your arrival when you arrived in the early evening. Being a local as you say you should know that there are bugs in the tropics..….when the room was checked earlier in the day there were no bugs but by the time you arrived quite late one may have entered the room...…..and probably died straight away due to the fact that the rooms are sprayed on a regular basis by a reputable company. The same with the leaves....the balcony was swept (by me) on room check. Leaves obviously fell before your late arrival and we can't have someone standing there picking up leaves until your unknown late arrival time. Rates are also high for a one night stay to cover expensive cleaning costs and a lot of places don't do one night stays for this reason. Next time you book locally call whoever you book with direct and discuss discounts. When booking through an onsite booking agent this can't be done. Funny that people who left the room the day before you arrived loved that room and complemented us on it....see review below yours??
