We stayed for two nights for the price this is a great location we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was great but the only negative was there was no TV in the master bedroom which would have been in our motel room otherwise the apartment is very spacious with everything you need air-conditioned fans huge TV in the lounge room clean bathroom, laundry and kitchen etc. Staff were extremely friendly. You can walk to all eateries and the shops Coles is nearby and a short stroll to marina and beach. The pool area is nice with BBQ and seating.Nice place to stay.

We had a quick two night stay. Apartment was nice and clean. The design of the shower for the main room was terrible and were lucky to fit one person in. The hot and cold taps in the main ensuite were also back to front. Pool area was nice and perfect way to cool down. Car park has a tight entry especially if you have a larger vehicle. However there is plenty of street parking if needed. We would still stay here again when in Port Douglas next.

We spent three nights here, the room had no TV which was fine we can live with that
But we had a kettle and tea and coffee but no cups, made making a cuppa quite hard.
Went to do laundry and the facility are unable to provide $1 coins for their machines and it was hard to get any from neighbouring shops. Was rude we had to ask them. We understand about Covid but seriously they couldn’t help in any way??
The location was great we could literally walk straight out to the Main Street. During the weekend there was plenty of food choices but on the Monday night there was nothing open. We had no way of cooking except for the bbq which was occupied for the whole night so had to opt for takeaway.

The reception at this property closes at 4pm so when we arrived we had to check in via phone, which is fine however initially the person I spoke to was unable to find our booking (which was made via a third party website) and would not take my booking number to assist in locating the booking.
While reasonably large, our room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. The balcony faced over the pool which was nice, however the pull down blind over the the balcony sliding doors meant the light from the pool streamed in around the blind and the room was never fully dark when we were trying to sleep.
The bathroom was also nice and large, however, the bizarre choice to have louvered sliding wooden doors offers zero privacy (if you get my meaning...).
None of this ruined our holiday by any means, but it was disappointing considering what we paid. Pictures on the website are quite misleading. I see from Mantra's responses to previous reviews that there are some upgrades underway, so I would expect the recently refurbished rooms would be of a much higher quality.
The property is in a great location, within walking distance to many good restaurants and the onsite parking is free and undercover.

The Mantra in the Village is in an excellent location if you want to be in the heart of Port Douglas and have access to shops and restaurants. The apartment was large with separate lounge and bedroom, verandah with spa bath and kitchenette. Once inside there was no noise from any other rooms. It was so easy to go out and about and there was parking underneath the building. We did not use the wifi. The only comment we have is about maintenance. Our verandah door would not open and then once the staff got it open, it would not shut and lock. Maintenance came the next day but we did not see them again. The plastic jug in the fridge was leaking but we only worked that out after a couple of days of wondering if the fridge was leaking. And we did not use any cushions or blanket as they were dirty and stained. But once we got past all that we enjoyed our stay.

Our overnight stay was not good. Great room and location BUT: phone in room didn’t work so couldn’t ring reception or out, hair dryer worked only for a short time, we were given a code for wifi but when we attempted to use it, we were asked to pay. The worst thing was that the reception was supposed to be manned from 9:00 on Sunday with check out at 10:00. We wanted our bags minded after 10 as our organised pick up was for later. There was no mention of baggage storage in the digital compendium and there was no one that could be contacted to see if this was ok. We waited and waited. Nobody was there to help us until nearly 10 and that was a cleaner. This isn’t good enough for a hotel of this standard.

Stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with our daughter and 7 month grandchild. We arrived mid morning in heavy rain, our unit was ready so the lovely receptionist allowed us in early. Rooms were very clean and spacious with updated finishes. The port a cot provided for our grandson was amazing, made up with crisp white sheets, the top one folded down. His own set of towels and toiletries at the end of the cot. This thoughtful touch made our day. Housekeeping staff and receptionist second to none. We have stayed in several Mantra properties in the past, this was the nicest.

We stayed in a suite with a spa for 4 days. We found the room clean, tidy and very spacious, with a nice view over the pool and looking at the mountains. The room was everything we need, with a small but well stocked kitchen, and the spa was nice at the end of the day. The hotel was very centrally located, within cafes and bars literally outside the door, but it was also very quiet. If we need anything (in our case just extra tea bags) we spoke to reception and they were provided with no fuss. The Mantra in the Village was everything we could ask for, and i would not hesitate in recommending it.

The apartment was big and in an excellent location. The Apartment was tired needed some TLC and wasn't very clean. Out-of-hours help from staff was absolutely shocking. Mantra Heritage staff hung up on me when I called after hours seeking assistance after my son was very unwell and I needed assistance to source materials to clean apartment such as Mop, towels etc.

Never any attendance at reception, iron bars lock the entrance at 5 pm. House Phone does not work. Parties supposed to stop after 9 pm, the party next to our room insisted on playing loud music into the night. We had to go down stairs to access the lobby phone to complain. Eventually someone answered however although they visited there was little interest in stopping the noise. Very surprised Accor are happy to promote this hotel. As a Gold Accor member I do not recommend and are very disappointed .
