The location for this accommodation was perfect for us. All the big chains look good but you would need to drive to go anywhere whereas we could walk everywhere from here. The staff were also very pleasant and the apartments are beautifully appointed with views to the ocean. We also had a full moon which added something special. It was...

Dear woozal27, What a lovely review and thank you so much for your time to write your observations. It is heartening to read that you thought the Suites were beautifully appointed and that you thought it was great to have breakfast as a complimentary inclusion - we think a good and wide ranging hot and cold full buffet breakfast is...

The rooms are very nice and the whole place is color co-ordinated in blues and greens. The bath soaps and amenities are great. Wonderful bar, excellent mixed drinks, nice wine list and the food in room service and in the restaurant was great. Literally 1 minute walk to the enclosed beach and less than 5 minutes to down-town. Excellent staff...

We had a good weekend exploring the town and surrounds. Rooms are clean, good size, works well. Location is convenient and within casual walking distance to everything on offer in town. Waking up to sunrise over the waters of the Barrier Reef are a great way to start the day.

Dear David B, I guess the benchmark for a great stay in a hotel is both the quality of the room and its location and we are happy you enjoyed both. We feel spoilt that we are the only Hotel in Port Douglas that enjoys beach and ocean views whilst being ideally located at the quiet and peaceful end of...

We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed at Peninsula hotel. The location was perfect with a lovely beach outlook from our balcony. Our room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We would not hesitate to return.

Location was fantastic and we would book another holiday there for this reason alone. The gardens, pool and outdoor restaurant area were gorgeous. Our room was comfortable but dated with a couple of annoying things to contend with. On day one of our 10 night stay we reported the dishwasher was out of order and the promise to swap it...

This was our sixth trip here. We, amongst others at the breakfast area, commented about the formula supermarket bread & the passé Kraft jams. Today on our last day, some lovely wholemeal artisan style loaf appeared? Why not every day- Brumbys' bakery is about 200m from the hotel, & they have a wide range. What about all the lovely French...

Just spent four nights in this wonderfully located boutique hotel in Port Douglas. Lovely aspect overlooking the beach and excellent service with some nice touches. Definitely will stay there again. Only suggestion is that the tile floors were a bit 'gritty' so perhaps a more thorough daily sweep and/or wipe...

We were lucky enough to have 10 nights here and from the moment we arrived the welcoming couldn't have been better. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, our apartment #36 overlooked the pool so we always had something to look at. We had the sun virtually all day which was fabulous in June. Our apartment was very spacious,...

Location can't be beat - you're across the street from the beach. The rooms were airy and large - you can open up all the sliding doors to open up the bathroom to the bedroom to the living area (with couch, kitchen, and balcony). The pool is small but pretty and inviting. AND there are free washing machines and dryers,...
