This is your base for exploring Port Douglas. The staff are exceptionally professional and polite given these uncertain times. I wanted a quiet room on this book which was made available to within 24 hours of check in! I was just thrilled to finally unwind. The breakfast is a standard continental, for which the addition of egg would be great improvement. Beach access is less than 100m from the rear of the resort. The marina is less than 5min walk. Maccrossan street a 5 min drive. The 1 bedroom studio is well appointed with basic cooking amenities and with proper planning is just right. There aren't any lifts so if you pack heavy prepare to haul your bags to the third floor. No bother at all for me. If you have not planned your stay the reception team will happily make the bookings for you. Recommended getting a bus pass from Excellence coaches for shuttles within PD if you don't want to drive. This is a Accor facility and the ethos echoes within the candor of the staff. Look forward to future stays here.

Not happy with our room especially we paid extra for upgrade. But overall it was a nice stay. Great pool and location, staff were friendly and helpful. Need more pool towels for guests. Upon checking in, our room had a strong damn smell, kettle didn't work, it was so old and rusty looks like they picked it out from a garage sale.

The location of the resort was perfect. Close enough to walk to to town and only a short stroll to the beach. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The facilities were great. The pool bar was an added bonus. The breakfast was well worth the money for a continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at the Portsea mantra. Went up with friends to celebrate a birthday and was my first time visiting Port Douglas. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location and my room was great for just one person. The pool area was great and the pool was perfect for kids and adults. Would happily stay here again

Despite the good location, this hotel was disappointing from beginning to end. Three flights of stairs to lug up a suitcase with no help and no lift. Extremely limited and very unhealthy food choices onsite. No restaurant. The breakfast room has no healthy choices besides an apple or orange. (Think white bead, muffins and coco pops). The pool bar only has pizza and fried food options. This becomes a problem when it is difficult to get out of the hotel in the case of poor weather or a late night check in. No room service including basic cleaning, and no access to cleaning equipment for cleaning by yourself. Tiny room. Limited onsite facilities. There are far better options for accomodation in the area. The photos of the hotel are very nice but they do not depict the actual condition and limited facilities.
