Nautilus ticked every box for our young family 😍 We had the best holiday! The apartment was spotless and had beautiful views overlooking the pool from both of the balconies. The kitchen and laundry In our 2 bedroom apartment made life so easy with our 2 young children. At just a short walk (scooter ride for the kids) from the Main Street of Port Douglas, the marina and also the beach it made for the perfect location for us. We were able to save money by not hiring a car due to the ideal location. The pool and main bbq area was always spotless and we enjoyed swimming everyday. Our kids often not wanting to leave Nautilus as they loved swimming in the pool so much. Mick and Sue were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great holiday. Mick provided great advice for our day tours and was able to book us in for a discounted price compared to the internet.
We would recommend Nautilus to all of our family & friends and we wouldn’t look elsewhere for our family next time we come back to Port Douglas. Fantastic value for money!

Travelling Northern QLD as a group of friends, this was the best accommodation we enjoyed by far. The unit was on the ground floor, spacious, squeaky clean, tastefully decorated, and very well provisioned - everything from birthday candles to cookbooks! The gardens were lovely and made our outdoor patio a pleasure, and the heated pool and BBQ area were beautifully provisioned and maintained (we loved the pool lighting in the evenings). Hosts Sue and Mick were super helpful with tour bookings, recommendations and extras, and Lucy the cat came and checked on us regularly, which was a real treat given were missing all our fur kids. There was even a bottle-shop just around the corner near a lovely Chinese restaurant/takeaway for a lazy evening. All within walking distance from the beach, marina and centre of town. We can't recommend Nautilus enough! Just superb!

We have stayed here 3 times now and highly recommend Nautilus. This time we stayed in one of the refurbished apartments on the top floor, which was very nicely appointed and 4 star. Mick and Sue are the on-site managers who are an absolute delight, there for you if needs be, otherwise left to your own devices; Mick books all our trips for us, no extra charge. The Apts are conveniently located, about a 10 min walk to the to the heart of Macrossan Street, 10 min walk to the Marina and 200m from the beach (across the road and down a pathway). No doubt we'll be back again for a 4th time :-)

We have stayed here 4 times now and this is our second review. The price is fantastic for what you get.

This is not a 5 star property, but we stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the top floor and for the price, it is fantastic value. It is clean, with a modern kitchen. The bathrooms date the property but function fine.

There are minor issues like windows and sills are damaged or do not work as intended always, but again, not big issues.

The pool is nice as is the BBQ area. Each time we have stayed we have managed to get an undercover car park.

Mick and Sue are genuinely lovely and very accomodating with any request for assistance or recommendations. We have taken their advice and they have been spot on every time.

The Nautilus is a Port Douglas gem, one I don't really want to share because I want it to be available when I go, but, that would just be selfish.

For the price, this is not only one of the best in Port, but the region.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom apartment. The facilities were lovely. Tv pool and plenty of space. we were on the first floor so had a lovely balcony which we made full use of. The managers were extremely helpful and friendly and keen to make sure we had everything we needed, they helped make our stay even more enjoyable. The appartments are well maintained and extremely clean. with a full kitchen and laundry facility in the apartment. The property is about a bit of a walk, away from the main street (for two old ladies not used to the heat) but we found the “Excellent” bus service very reliable and after buying a very economical weekly pass, a great way to get around. Just ring the driver and get picked up and taken wherever in Port Douglas you want to go. . Wonderful time.

Mick and Sue are really nice & friendly, very genuine and want to make your stay in Port Douglas the best experience. Very nice complex, the heated pool was sensational for the below average winter temperatures in 2022, didn't want to get out! Port Douglas is a sensational town, and great to see that its back busy again. Bookings are essential for good Restaurants. All in walking distance, our favorites were Chillys Pizza (Cane Toad Racing), and Salsa Bar is just amazing food & unbelievable service!! A bottle shop is located 2 min walk, 4 Mile Beach Access is 10 min walk. Plenty of car parking, and garages where we stored hire bikes, which were brilliant for beach cycling (Hire from BIKE SHOP AND HIRE 3 Warner St. 15min walk). Will stay again when we come back, thanks!

My wife and I stayed at the Nautilus apartments over new year 2019/20 for five nights. Mick & Sue the managers were very hospitable and nothing was a problem. The room we had was spacious and clean. Although our room (202) was a little dark inside and could do with better lighting. The air conditioning was top notch as it was hot and humid outside. We were part of a reunion group and Mick and Sue let us put up a small marquee on the property so we could gather outside to socialise in the evening.
They made the whole group 75 plus people all feel very welcome. I would highly recommend the Nautilus apartments.

Very helpful staff, nice block with good sized rooms, plenty of parking and a short walk to town. But the room we was in (215) was spoilt by the lack of investment by the unit owner - settee felt like it was 20 years old and sagging - very uncomfortable. The TV screen was breaking up and hard to watch. Looked like the place had been furnished by Vinnies - all old stuff. From glimpses seemed other units were much better.

Mike and Sue were the best hosts, so friendly and helpful. We so appreciated the helpful advice they gave us regarding things to do in and about Port Douglas. Mike and Se take great pride in their apartments. Everything is well maintained. The gardens and pool are all immaculate.
Our accommodation was perfect as it was truly a home away from home with all the mod cons and amenities you would need to make your stay comfortable. To have a washing machine and clothes dryer was much appreciated. Our apartment was private with a nice balcony where we had our breakfasts.
We were within easy walking distance to the main street for shopping and Four Mile Beach. We would certainly recommend Nautilus Apartments and would love to stay there again.

Amazing apartments at a great cost! Everything you needed for a holiday. Full kitchen to cook, two bedroom had two bathrooms, outdoor table as well as full indoor dining area. Mick and Sue were beautiful people and easy to deal with! Close to everything port Douglas has to offer without being right in the center of it all. Would definitely come back again and recommend to anybody and everybody! Thanks for an amazing stay Mick and Sue ☺️
