Worth the money and deserving of the hype. Luxe family holidaying at its best. Situated 10min drive out of town you are hidden in a lush oasis with sublime architecture and finishes. Exclusive - yet personal service to make it feel like home. Great for kids and adults a like. Think along the lines of Qualia but with kids allowed. Will stay here again.

My wife and I recently had a week at the Niramaya Villas and Spa for our wedding anniversary in a fully enclosed, private secure 3 bedroom deluxe villa. The staff were exceptional .Check in was very smooth with all our questions fully covered. A staff member then came to our villa to explain the ins and outs of how everything worked. The whole experience was way above expectations and the staff were forever obliging and helpful, to the extent that we were given a bottle of champagne and chocolates for our anniversary. The garden and grounds are very spacious around the villas. These areas are kept in a pristine condition. It took us a few days to realize that there is always the sound of running water around you at Niramaya in your villas plunge pool and your courtyard fountains which actually relaxes you and enhances the overall experience. There was also an abundance of birdlife within the grounds of the resort. Wi fi was always pretty good, but sometimes the TV reception was a little sketchy. We found the restaurant food and service excellent, with a distinctive asian flavour and also enjoyed a few cocktails from the bar. Room service was also available. We really appreciated having a full sized double garage attached to our villa , which enabled us to park under cover and only need to walk a dozen steps to our living area. This was also great for the easy packing and unpacking of suit cases upon arrival and departure. Based upon our many years of overseas travel staying in 5 star resorts, Niramaya Villas and Spa is now right at the top of our list, without the need for a long haul flight. …

It’s a overpriced air bnb.. as Someone that comes from overseas, the villas don’t come with a phone so you can’t get in touch with reception etc. If you don’t have a car, you have to pay for a shuttle into town. For the prices you charge you should offer complimentary shuttle. The massages and facials were wonderful, the breakfast was disappointing, don’t even have freshly squeeze juice available. Make sure you pre book your breakfast as we weren’t told and then it was “booked out”, totally understaffed as well. On the website it should say in BOLD that it’s self contained and mention that no housekeeping is there unless you stay longer than 5 nights. We also ordered 2 pina coladas which were $55 with a $10 delivery fee from the bar.. which is outrageous.

Fabulous stay and absolutely loved the restaurant. Food was stunning and well priced compared to the top restaurants in PD. Highly recommended. Staff and facilities are best we’ve experienced and definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Port Douglas

We had the most wonderful stay at Niramaya last week. We first stayed at Niramaya 10 years ago and were so excited to return with friends to celebrate our joint 40th birthdays and this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The new restaurant is fabulous and you can now order drinks and food by the pool too. Our villa (#44) was perfectly appointed with four spacious double bedrooms, all with ensuites and three separate spaces to relax along with a well appointed kitchen. There was also a large infinity pool which overlooked the tranquil gardens. (Friends also stayed in Villa #45 and were delighted with this too.) The spa facilities and garden are stunning and it is such a perfect space for relaxation. You can now also book a yoga instructor to take a yoga class in the gardens or else in your villa and this was such a highlight of the stay. Niramaya could not be a more perfect destination to celebrate a milestone birthday with friends and family and we can not wait to return. Thank you team for making our stay an unforgettable one! …

Our stay in Villa 24 in this magic location was perfect from arrival to departure. The privacy in this Villa has one feeling no one outside these beautiful garden walls exists. This Villa feels brand new with its sparkling new kitchen, new appliances and tasteful furnishings. The magnesium pool is at a perfect temperature even mid-winter, but let’s face it - winter doesn’t exist in Port Douglas and after stepping into Villa 24 at Niramaya the thought of departure is very difficult. Can’t wait to return to this paradise.

The villa was beautiful it had absolutely everything you would need for a great stay the private pool was a good size and the gardens very well tended giving privacy everywhere. When we checked in the staff were pleasant and very helpful. We had a tiny problem with the pool and a member of the staff was sent out they arrived in 15 mins what great service if I could give more stars for this resort I would .

We stayed in Villa 26. OMG it was absolutely amazing, the most beautiful accommodation ever, we never wanted to leave! Everything about the gorgeous and villa the heated private pool was exceptional, we never wanted to leave! Only negative was the restaurant, we had a breakfast and dinner there and it was really disappointing. probably best to use it on cocktails instead!
