My daughter and I recently spent a week at Balboa apartments. We had a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom ground floor apartment facing the beach. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and was spotlessly clean with large, comfortable beds. The Managers, Andrew and Lyn were so helpful with recommendations for tours and transport and the location was perfect with only a short walk to all the shops, cafes, restaurants and beach. I would definitely stay at Balboa again!

The location is fantastic, walking distance to 4 mile beach and all the facilities in Maccrossan Street. The apartments are very well appointed with all the facilities you require. There’s a swimming pool if you just want to laze about.

WE recently stayed at Balboa with our family which included a toddler. We were treated like very important guests. Our apartment was fantastic for a family and all needed things including a cot was supplied. From our very welcome introductions we were looked after by lovely people . Love the fact that any question asked was answered with a wealth of knowledge. Thank you we will return

Balboa is a clean well appointed apartment with everything you need Fabulous location Walking distance to shops and restaurants Managers are great and maintain the property so well Pool is lovely We have been here 5 times Always great We will be back

We recently stayed in the very spacious ground floor Apt 7. This is an ideal family apartment easily accessible by a large outdoor terrace. The apartment is across the path from the pool, across the road from the beach, and a few minutes walk away from the main shopping/restaurant strip. It is so close to everything in such peaceful tropical surrounds. The managers Andrew and Lynette were friendly and informative, and very helpful in organizing our airport transfers. We couldn’t imagine a better location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the first floor. The apartment is huge, so much natural light and a large balcony. We could see the beach from the balcony. The apartment came with everything we needed, it was excellent. The location is brilliant, we have two small kids do it was so good to be a quick walk to the beach & shops. Having the free strollers available was such a help too, as well as beach chairs and beach toys. My kids loved the pool. You’ll be so glad you booked here. We will definitely be coming back, and recommending to others.

We recently stayed at Balboa Apartments for the 1st time and although it was our 7th trip to PD, of all the apartment complexes we’ve stayed in, Balboa ticked all the boxes. The apartment (no.4) was huge so ideal for a family and all the bedrooms had plenty of room and cupboard space. It certainly wasn’t the most modern apartment but had everything we needed. The huge outdoor terrace was perfect for our 2 year old grandson to play. The apartment is well located to the beach, shops and park. The pool could’ve been a little warmer for us Victorians but the children certainly loved it. Lynette and Andrew are great managers and were quick to help if we needed anything but didn’t interfere with our stay. Little extras like beach chairs and beach toys to borrow were a bonus. Thanks for a great holiday. We’ll be back!…

Just had a week's stay at Balboa, can't recommend this place enough. We were in Apartment 7 on the ground floor, spacious,modern and spotlessly clean, the outdoor area has ocean views. It's location is perfect, a stone's throw from the beach,quiet yet just off the main street with all the bars, restaurants and shops. The managers couldn't have been more helpful, especially as our return flights were cancelled and they accommodated us for an extra 3 nights until our rescheduled flights. Looking forward to another stay soon 🙂

We stayed in apartment 7 which was spacious and well appointed. Located right next to the pool on the ground floor we enjoyed the large front balcony that was private but at the same time allowed us to take in views of the beach. Location is perfect too... lovely and quiet but only a stone’s throw to Macrossan Street where you can walk to the array of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Would highly recommend to families or couples.
