We spent two nights at this caravan park. Quick check in and lots of information including maps and brochures available at the main office. The ensuite cabin was very nice and a bargain at 90 aud per night. Very clean and spacious. Nice kitchen and a comfortable sofa as well as table and chairs both inside and outside. Cable TV,...

Stayed here for the first 2 nights of a 3 month road trip and we adored this place. It's really hidden away and is so picturesque it's gorgeous. The amenities were very modern and always spotless, the showers were so powerful and were really lovely and hot. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when it came to booking...

Stayed on an ensuite site for 14 nights in august staff were really good always friendly no problem to change dates and extend stay. Park can be squeezy but park will use a tractor to put you on site. Unfortunatly this means tractor noise from early in the morning.

This was one of the cleanest, and friendliest campings we have visited. The camping kitchen is very large, and cleaned very well, daily. Visitors on this camping are all very nice, and it was fun to stay here three days. A bit curious, some hippies camp opposite of the park, just on the street. Though officially not allowed to camp...

Thank you Oli for your feedback on your recent stay at Lake Placid Tourist Park. The public parking area outside the park is a no camping zone and from time to time we have backpackers who pay to use our facilities but do not stay overnight. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and hope the remainder of...

This was our big stop before we headed for Cape York. It was wonderful. We had driven up from Melbourne. We arrived late. Map and instructions were left on the front door for us. Pool was great for relaxing. Camp kitchen clean and one of the best I have seen. Showers and toilet extremely clean as well as the laundry....

We had intended to stay for ten days and ended up being in Caravan Park nearly a month as we have family in the region. There is a Cafe with good coffee and food on site, a bonus when visitors come. The grounds are well kept and amenities spotless even when Park is packed through winter season, a credit to...

A very pretty park with decent facilities. Staff great to deal with. Stayed 2 nights here on a powered site. This was our first park on our Australian holiday and we were off to a good start! A good base but a fair distance to shops etc.

We were very happy with our accommodation (Cabin) which we found was clean and roomy and also the BBQ area outside was great. We found all the staff that we dealt with very helpful and friendly and we were able to book several trips through the office. The area in which Lake Placid Tourist Park is located is beautiful with...

This is a very nice campground, nice shower block although the water pressure was very low. Attractive grounds with lovely swimming pool. Modern kitchen/ dining area near pool. The site for RV was tight in between two trees which made manoeuvring tricky. The site was a bit elevated so the grey water pipe wouldn't drain into the outlet, therefore, we...

Dog friendly! Amenities great, large and clean. Sites a little tight but not too bad, have stayed in much worse! Remembering that the caravans today are much larger than in earlier days; it's hard to change a caravan park mid stream, when caravans are getting bigger and bigger!! Great pool and camp kitchen facilities and we were very happy to...
