We just spent 2 nights at the absolutely beautiful park in Cairns. We were in a 2 bedroom older style unit that was immaculately clean and had everything We needed for Our stay. Reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the actual park itself was a gorgeous oasis full of rain forest trees and palms everywhere. There was a turtle sanctuary in the park and a little river/ creek that ran around nearly the whole caravan park with a little beach right at the very back. They had a pizza van come there the Thursday and Friday nights We were there and the food was incredible. We packed so much into Our little whirlwind trip to Cairns to see Our Daughter off to Japan and having such a beautiful and tranquil peaceful place to stay was a highlight. We recommend this park very highly giving it 5 stars. We plan on coming back to stay again for much longer very soon. 😄👍❤️

We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the Daintree Cabins to reset on our way back down south. Originally booking for two nights the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly when needing to add an extra night to our stay. The cabin was immaculate with a wonderful view of the gardens and pool, we used the amenities block for laundry and this was also spotlessly clean. A beautiful place to stay, nice and quiet and not too much of a drive from the city or tourist attractions, if we are ever back in cairns we will be back here!

Really nice CP, well maintained and shaded. Sanitary facilities and cooling area very clean. The beach is tiny and apparently not used, the pool was unfortunately closed for renovation (Nov 2024). In the side street opposite is a bus stop, for 0.50 AUD you come to the Esplanade, about 45 min. We spent 4 nights here.

On the whole it was clean, as was the linen but they need to look behind the sliding doors and give that a bit of a clean, also. We stayed two nights in the motel part and just because it was booked for two, one should not assume that they are a couple. In fact we were an aged mother and adult daughter; booked in to a two-bed unit. One of us had to sleep in the other bedroom and the bed was not made up. also, bothe the double bed and the single, where I slept were so uncomfortable. Perhaps the owners should try them out for a night. Also, the toilet was so low; perhaps they should think of who their cliental might be and either install a higher toilet or rails; it was so hard to get up off the loo. And the walls, between rooms, must not be insulated as one could hear everything that was goind on in the attached unit. I would think twice about staying there again and would probably ask for an inspection prior to booking. Patricia

The website showed the beautiful grassy sites listed as premium creekside sites. Upon arrival we found our premium creekside site was really just a dusty patch of dirt. The creek could not be swum in or fished in. All it was good for was attracting copious amounts of midges.
We had an issue with another guest of the park threatening our young children, and when we reported this to management, they wanted no part of it. They simply said they could not control the behaviour of all their guests.
I would not recommend this park to anyone, especially those with children.

This Caravan Park would be okay if they hadn’t packed the Cabins in. What I thought was a walkway was the road to drive to your cabin. Some designated parking for some cabins are very small and not much space to manoeuvre in with the cabin opposite too close. The cabin itself, a Studio, had a very low bed, alright if you are very short in statue or should you fall out of bed, you probably wouldn’t notice as you would probably think it’s just a hard mattress. I should imagine the skirt around the base would get very soiled. The pool could do with a handrail, for people with mobility issues. On the plus side, it is a short drive to city.

Wow. Would give more stars if I could. Total serenity. Beautiful, lush sites that are shady and a good size. Immaculate bathrooms and toilets. Great laundry facilities. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Have stayed in the other caravan parks in Cairns and this one is by far the best. A good rate for families and even pet friendly. There is a beautiful pool and the park backs on to a fresh water running stream which we have been swimming in on most days. Beautiful tropical rain forest walks. Turtle feeding. Awesome camp kitchen. Immaculate grounds. Doesn't get better than this. We extended our stay by a week. Highly recommend

Had a 4 day stay in absolutely beautiful park. Rainforest setting with lovely clear running creek adjacent , good for cool swim . Convenient location with options of transport to nearby attractions. Fuel station , liquor shop , pizza , noddle shop all close and easy walk .Lovely cafe attached to the park for morning coffee . Amenities clean and tidy . Park grounds immaculate and van sites are privately separated by gardens . Managers are so friendly and helpful and should be congratulated on the condition of the park . Would highly recommend to friends and family and hope to be back one day for an extended stay . 10 out 10 .

My husband and myself stayed at this wonderful park for seven weeks. What an absolutely beautifully run and managed park. Not only are the grounds well kept and tidy as it’s covered in tropical trees with a creek running along the boundary it’s very clean. I was always seeing staff cleaning the facilities several times a day. There are turtles to feed as well as fish and it’s fun to try and manage to get some food to the turtles as the fish are so fast. Most of the staff were a delight and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this place to everyone but make sure you book for a while so you can really enjoy this place.

Hey, here we were put on site 46 and although spacious w slab, 90% in shade and smell of dampness due to no sun and only 40 mtres from the main road towards Port Douglas. So very, very noisy but we found staff super nice and busy around park so a 10 out of 10. Facilities great also. We found the prices for sites differed through conversation with other users which was interesting. Overall a nice park but need to be past the creek for peace from road. You could say a very convenient park for activities north of city ... Thankyou.
