We stayed at 11 hostels travelling around qld and this was one of the best. The rooms were immaculate and the kitchen was well equipped and always spotless. Nice outdoor area but the pool is pretty small. Staff were lovely. We will definitely return to stay here again.

Spend 5 nights here, nice clean hostel with friendly and helpful staff, it's central located and you can walk everywhere you need to go, think it's good value for the money, even that there were some problems with getting sheets the first night because I arrived late.

My friend and I stayed here during New Years. We were in a double room with ensuite. It was basic, but very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were the comfiest beds we slept in during our stay in Cairns (we also stayed at other hotels/resorts). The YHA is conveniently located just across the road from the largest...

We stayed at the YHA Cairns for 2 nights last month, during our time travelling the East Coast. Having stayed at a few YHA's previously, we weren't expecting any thrills- but this YHA was a pleasant surprise! With friendly helpful staff keen to offer there guidance on the surrounding amenities, a large communal area both inside and out, pool, jacuzzi...

A great hostel conveniently located. A short walk from the Esplanade and opposite the Central Shopping Mall. The hostel offered us a free shuttle pick up from the airport but we were told that drop to the airport was not free and the fare needs to be paid to the driver. There is free wifi in the reception and common...

Our stay here was interesting. No body wanted to chat in our room which wasn't reflective of the whole hostel we just had a bad experience. But the facilities were great and the staff were even better. We carelessly left our charger in the kitchen and by the time we had realised it was gone. I was devastated but the...

Good hostel. Nice and chilled all ages welcome. The free community shelf in the kitchen was fully loaded. Pool and jacuzzi are great. The showers are fantastic and very powerful. The staff were ultra friendly and professional. As a solo traveller Hannah organised most of my Christmas. She should have a halo as she's an angel.

This was a nice hostel, they where renovating the bathrooms. The one downstairs where done so those where brand new. The rooms where spacious and the airco worked well. And last but not least they have a free pancake breakfast every morning.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I stayed with my mom (ages 20 & 50) and we got a private double room. It's really small but it came with towels which was nice. I've stayed at YHAs before and they are very backpacker-partyish but this one seemed more chill which was a nice refresher. There are a ton of...
