What a great hotel. We had a room on the lower level right in front of the pool. No complaints about the room, big, no complaints about the shower, big, no bath but that bothered me none. Comfortable beds and pillows. One block back from beach/path along the waterline. Very pretty place. Beside reception and the pool they have a...

My young family and I stayed at the Cairns Queenslander Hotel and Apartments in January and we thought it was really great. Would recommend to any family. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean. The pool is great. Central enough that we walked to the bus stop not far down the road and traveled easily around the city. Walking is...

We stayed at the Cairns Queenslander recently between Feb 14 - 18. As soon as we drove in, we realized that this is not exactly what you would call a luxury hotel, but a small time establishment with basic facilities. Good points: 1. Staff - very helpful and friendly, and always smiling, any time of the day or night 2....

I stayed here with a large group of high school kids last week for a school trip. The place is super clean and the staff is very nice with helping call a cab or give recommendations. The rooms have a small kitchen and they serve a full breakfast each morning with AMERICAN coffee:) The only real downside is the street...

We stayed here for two nights before and after a dive trip. The location is good in that is close enough to walk to a lot of good restaurants in the area. The staff are friendly and the hotel is in good condition. We had the continental breakfast each morning and it was very substantial. You could also have a...

Bathroom hadn't been cleaned very well, there was long hair on floor, a plastic hook on floor in the shower. With all the floors being cement it's very noisy with wheels from ports and cleaners trolleys. Good thing being close to town and not far from airport, but when the planes were coming into land, they were quite close. Close...

Two of us stayed here for one night and although overall it was good value for money, we couldn't rate this any higher than a 3 out of 5. Reception staff friendly on arrival, we'd booked a suite, which was quite roomy and contained a basic kitchen area, large king bed, one single, dining table & chairs & two cane...

My family stayed in a two bedroon apartment for one week. The first impressions of this accommodation were positive with very friendly, efficient customer service at reception. Unfortunately the apartment and overall facilities didn't match. The room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned and the ground floor location was noisy. The outside corridor lights were very bright, making sleep difficult in the...
