The accommodation was spacious for a studio self-contained apartment, clean and neat which combined with the friendliness and assistance of the staff made our stay more enjoyable. Cairns is a friendly and welcoming city. We visited the northern beach areas of Yorkeys Knob (the Boat Club is excellent), Trinity Beach (WW2 memorials and excellent tavern for lunch), Palm Cove with...

Hi Sushree2014, Thank you for your review. I read with interest your comment that the Cairns Esplanade is 1.8kms away? Actually, it's only easy short walk (120 metres) from the Cairns Queenslander. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and we do hope to see you again. Kind regards Management

A good solid hotel that's in a reasonable price range. No frills, friendly staff, good rooms, good space, and convenient... I stayed with family, the rooms were comfortable, and there is a cafe attached to the hotel for breakfast

This hotel offers exceptionally friendly service, neat, clean and tidy rooms and a great position between Cairns Airport and the CBD. Although the corridors can be somewhat noisy at night, with late arrival wheels clicking along tiled corridors, the rooms are comfy and well appointed in a variety of different room types. The staff are always exceptionally helpful and 24/7...

Booked this hotel online and booked a "superior" room with a queen bed. Checked that there were lifts, had balconies, liked the location and was a fair price. Requested that we had a room high-up, facing the coast. Heard nothing saying not possible. Arrived when expected, and went to check in. We checked in, and were told that our room...

I recently found myself booking in the Queenslander unexpectedly for one night. It was great right from the start - great room - really spacious with a balcony. After a tour to the Barrier Reef we decided to eat in the hotel. I had fish, chips and salad with no expectation of particularly good food but it was outstanding! The...

Stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2015 (sorry such a late review, I couldn't amend the date). Excellent value for money. Our family budget room was perfect. The room was clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Excellent restaurant, great food, except some nights they were fully booked and were unable to take orders until later....

Great room on ground floor near the carpark making for quick entry and exit. Rooms were spacious and modern although some have main road outlook. Good location for the Esplanade and a brisk walk to the shops.
