The room was grubby. Rubbish in the bathroom had been swept behind the door. Pulled the blanket out to put on the bed and it was covered in old food (not just a stain, actual lumps of old food!). The fridge got so noisy in the middle of the night we couldn't sleep, then the housekeeping staff so noisy in the morning. No tissues in the holder, leaking taps, went to remove our rubbish and the bin was filthy. Very expensive room for the crap that we got. The receptionist was nice. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The first thing we noticed when we first arrived at the hotel was how filthy the floor was. The carpeted stairs were covered in fluff and dirt and leaves...six days later when we left they were just the same, actually dirtier.
The coffee cups in our room had not been washed when we went to use them for the first time.
The pool has no shade except for the toddlers end, and the sun loungers were so putrid I didn't bother laying on them.
The curtains don't meet in the middle or even at either end of the dodgy pole their hanging from. The floodlights of the big garage are on all night and shine in the room so we had to sleep with pillows over our heads.
The bus to the centre of town is nice and handy, however the drivers were mostly cranky and not helpful.

DO NOT STAY!!! The room was disgusting, mould on the ceiling, hairs in the sink & on the toilet. The microwave was horrific yesterday dirty, had not been cleaned for what looked like months. Leaking tap in the bathroom. Aircon didn’t work (manager knew about the problem but didn’t care, wouldn’t even give us a discount). No smoke alarms. Very unsafe for children, window with no screens on upper level with a chair right next to it that children could easily open & fall out of.
We were overwhelmed by the smell on arrival & tried to check out but the manager refused to give us a refund, the poor receptionist was almost in tears as he yelled at her on the phone. Forced to stay in this awful place. We could not be more disappointed, worst place we’ve ever stayed.

This would have to be the worst place I have ever stayed it is very unhealthy and just absolutely disgusting to the point that we basically walked in then walked out there was no way we were going to sleep there. First of all as soon as we walked into the building all you could smell was cigarette smoke and Marijuana the carpet was disgusting ripped and probably has never seen a vacuum we walked into our room and it was so strong of smoke and there was something blowing out of the aircon the patio door was unlocked and opened there were holes in the wall that were freshly patched and I mean holes everywhere there was a massive stain on the carpet I believe there was a murder, the bathroom bench looked like it was going to fall off the toilet had the seal on it yet there was toilet paper in the toilet and some white stuff, the bed sheets didn’t look clean they had white crusty stuff on them and it looked like someone had been laying on the bed, the towels smell and had crusty stuff on them and they were that small it would never have dried anyone it is so bad and we are currently trying to get a refund if I could rate it 0 I would. I currently now have a really sore throat and I believe if we stayed we probably would have died. I also think someone is cooking meth in that building.

If I could give it a zero I would. This hotel is a scam. Please do not stay here. This hotel was booked on my family's behalf in town for a funeral and knowing what I know now I wouldn't let my dogs stay here let alone book and give them money front up. No right-minded person would.

My stay at the hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms and hallways had a strong odor of cigarettes and pot. The bedding was dirty and had no protection and only had sheets on them, and the towels had stains on them. The carpets were stained and sticky, and the bathroom was moldy and had dead insects. It felt like there were permanent residents living in the hotel which didnt feel safe. The room was not in good condition, with damaged and worn furniture adding to the poor ambiance. We found a ladies' handbag in a drawer with personal belongings, which made us question the cleanliness of this room.Other family staying in differnt room had the same issues.

After spending less than a minute in the room, we decided not to stay. Unfortunately, reception was closed, and we had to wait until the next day to lodge our complaint with managment. Even then, the after-hours staff could only pass on our concerns, leaving us without any solution at the time and no where to stay.

In reading the ACCC regulations our booking falls under a major fault. Despite demanding a refund, we have yet to receive one even after a week of correspondence and both the hotle and Wotif say we are entitled to a refund for our 3 days booking.

I have escalated the matter to various consumer protection agencies, including the health department, Consumer Affairs Ombudsman, Fair Trading Office, and our bank. We are even exploring legal options. I refused to let them keep my $371 for a room that was moldy, dirty, and unsafe, especially considering the potential health hazards to my family. For your own safety and comfort, I would advise against staying at this hotel. This place is a SCAM.

Do not book accomodation with this hotel, it is a disgrace. We arrived 31/12/20 to be advised our booking wasn't valid because we requested an extra bed. After finding Cairns was fully booked we had no option but to stay. When arriving at the room we found a shamble, disgusting mess with rubbish in the halls and people smoking in the complex. Smoke alarms covered and windows not secured. We have tried 8 times now to speak to the owner/manager who does not take calls.

The most disgusting motel you will EVER stay in. We had dirty sheets (pee stains and animal hair) and dirty rooms. Stinks of cigarette smoke and overall putrid smell in the rooms. People smoking in hallways. Pubic hairs in bath tub. Other people’s rubbish and food still in the rooms. Blood stains on curtains. Rats running around premises. No staff on site to help. All you get is after hours number for people in a different town. You even get given keys to rooms that people are living in. Didn’t feel safe. We found other accommodation and now won’t refund us the money we paid for when we didn’t even stay there.

This motel should not be open!! It does not even deserve a one star rating. We turned up after hours and noticed straight away a smashed door, proceeded to walk up to our room on the way the stairs are water damaged and rotten, we open the door to the room it stunk so bad we wanted to vomit, with damaged furniture. we were in the room for no more than 30 seconds and decided not to stay there even though there was no other accommodation available in Cairns. This place should be shut down. It’s unsafe it’s untidy and unhygenic. Wotif rated this place at 7.2/10- their pictures and description did not match the property at all when we arrived. Wot if have been absolutely no help during our complaint, taking no responsibility for breaking the law in false advertising. The ‘accommodation’ have also been of no help, denying refunds, and not allowing us to speak with or remain the manager directly only counter staff, who do not pass on emails or messages

The lady at reception was friendly but the room was awful the towels were paper thin I scratched all night as I’m sure there were bed bugs. The room was dusty, smelly and old furniture. Outside the room the cleaning staff left a pile of dirty smelly soiled bed linen, had to ask twice for somebody to remove it. I recommend only stay here if you are desperate, sleep in your car would be better! This place needs a total refurbishment or bull-dozed!
