we were in the overflow area of park, where we were packed in like sardines. The price is the same for the overflow as the normal sites. Amenities are very old and needing to be outdated for the money you are charged. Was not advised when booking that we would be in overflow area and 150 metres from toilets. free internet was patchy at best. G'day parks need to review this parks membership.

Very noisy, sites small and a lot of permanents. Noise was created by the locals and went through to 2am most mornings although one night they had a break but started their boom boxes up at 5am. Laneway had many locals cutting through. Will not stay there again

Mark was courteous at all times. We rang in advance when he assured us there would be a spot for us on a powered caravan site. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given a rundown of what's on in Cairns over the next few days. We wanted to change the site, from that allocated - we wanted more shade. No problem. The swimming pool was clean as were the amenities and grounds. We appreciated the shade and grassed sites after four months in the NT and Northern WA. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Great stay. Thank you and we will be back.

Park central & convenient & kept v clean, but will never stay there again. Owners very rude, we turned up to an angry, miserable woman at door,we were accused of booking a site for a big rig, which we hadn't, Mark knew what was booked but kept quiet while she ranted on at both myself, then my husband as he came into reception. Nothing in park been upgraded I reckon in 50 years, old rusty taps on basins & showers, almost impossible to turn on & off. We have COVID, yet there was ONE soap dispenser in ladies facilities for 6 basins! 2 small hooks &small shelf in shower, no seat, much harder for grey nomad's to shower in. Camp 'kitchen', well almost non existent, poor facilities for ~150 sites main 'kitchen' had 1x 2 burner stove, 1 sink & 1 bbq. Clean, but minimal, roof needs extending to cover a proper area, so rain does not come in and gas keeps blowing out. & A proper bench space put in. When we had rain, the whole place was like a lake, we had to wade to the bathroom and it took days to dry up, very inadequate drainage.

Worst caravan park I have every stayed at. We booked, only to find out they double booked sites and hence no sites available. We were placed into the mud pit outside of caravan park next to traffic and charged full price.
Do not go here.

Beautifully kept quiet park with a good sized pool, accomadation was clean and well stocked with plenty of shops and food outlets within a 10 minute walk. Staff were super helpful and friendly. You can organise trips through reception at no extra costs.

This caravan park is in an awesome location and the staff are fantastic. Nothing was a problem here. We were able to book all our sight seeing and trips right in the park office and they were a wealth of local information. Stayed there twice in July. Could not fault their service.

All I can say is I'm terribly disappointed with our stay. 1. Lots of rain which caused large puddles in the main thoroughfare. They did not recede at all even after all the rain had finished. Also dangerous trip hazards on the slimy mud either sides of the large puddles. Nearly went down on the way to the toilets on several occasions. 2. We had a lovely spot by ourselves and upon returning one evening found vans on either side of us. One was 500mm away from the side of our van! Talk about jammed in. I counted about 30 - 40 unused sites all around the park!!!!!!!!! Why the hell management stuck a van either side of us is unreasonable and totally lost my vote. Also the cost was $50 per night for a powered site. WOW Apart from that location of park was good and close to everything. Shall NEVER go there again........

We were staying in a hotel in Cairns to meet friends and First City Caravilla offered storage. We stayed there one night too, but the sites were extremely small, having to get the 'neighbours' to help park the van. Pool very tired and in need of an update.

The grounds are immaculate. Staff are friendly. Amenities very clean. Great location, close to the shopping centre and short drive to the city. Be sure to lock up your belongings as is requied in every caravan park in Cairns. Local residents on the city side of the park can be noisy some nights.
