Globetrotters is a really nice place to stay in Cairns. The staff were very friendly from the start. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. There are ceiling fans and aircon which is coin operated, although the staff each night put plenty of coins in which was awesome. Wifi was great and breakfast was Included and pretty good. Free...

Second time in cairns and the hostel is still just as amazing. Great wifi, cold air-con, close to everything, amazing staff, the manger that lives there is very helpful and is always around to help. Home away from home.

I stayed for a week with my mom when we had originally booked for two nights. We just loved it so much and didn't want to leave so we extended our stay. Such a great mix of people with plenty of chances to socialize. Very chill and relaxing for a break from the crazy travel life. Wonderfully run with very...

I stayed there for two night with my friends. The hostel is very nice, the rooms are big and clean. I think the hostel is way to big so is not very cosy. And when we arrived they split my friend and I even though we had the same booking. And the didn't even explain us why. The girls who...

The hostel is OK and the staff is very helpful. We stayed in a twin private room. When we got it, the room looked quite clean and the bedsheets had just been changed. The downside: Bathrooms are filthy. I guess they are cleaned once a day and it is not done properly. I've seen public bathrooms cleaner than those. One...

I've stayed at globetrotters a few times now it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Clean, friendly, free breakfast and free BBQ twice a week! The pool isn't huge but it's still a bonus! The staff are helpful, it's a 10 min walk to downtown cairns, it's all flat so pretty easy! I'd happily stay again!

Enjoyed staying at Globetrotters and would stay again. It's about a 15 minute walk to the reef terminal and 10 minutes into the main town area. They provide a free shuttle if you've booked a GBR tour or are catching the Greyhound. The free breakfast is also good :) We ordered a package to be sent there from the UK...

I was here for about a week in two separate rooms and I thought it was great. The management set out a good vibe and the staff stay in the hostel too so there's a lot of good advice about tours etc. The location is decent, but can be a pain to walk on a particularly hot day. The rooms...
