Rip off, MY EXPERIENCE IN cairns share house was not good, the current people who run it Jurian & his partner , sacked everyone that used to work there, the exit cleaning fee which is a joke as the place was filthy, had to blean bathroom & kitchedn bedroon when i moved in , went from $40 to $80 , when they took over, just lining there greedy pockets, when paying rent jurian told me due to the new system they were only taking cash, & nobody ever answered the phone or is in the office, then Peter the t long term tennant told me,jurian had his windows smashed in twice by people he owed money to, I had to threaten them with legal action to get my deposit back, AVOID ,

Location is really nice, just 10 min walks from shopping mall for groceries and 20 min walks from city centre Tranquil and comfortable living environment Professional management team Just one little thing that the WiFi is not so stable. Sometimes is excellent, sometimes it just frustrating

Hello, This is the first time in my life that I have written a review like this about an establishment. I lived in Cairns Sharehouse for 4 months, paying my rent on time, always cleaning and having a good time with my friends. I paid a $50 booking fee to get a room when I returned from my trip (2 months long). I made this reservation 3 months before my departure and took care to ask Catherine 3 times, if the room was booked, until the day before my departure. The answer was always yes. A few weeks before my return, I received an email warning me that due to a "booking problem" I would not have a room on my return and wishing me well for the future. I then found myself without an accommodation solution after having booked all my flights (worth $3000). Cairns sharehouse did not try to find me a solution or to help me. Apart from the "booking problem", I had no real argument or excuse why I didn't have a room. After several calls, I managed to get the owner on the phone who told me that the reason for my dismissal was the fact that I had a guest and that the rules forbid it. I could have understood if he acted the same way with everyone. But he didn't. Every roommate I know has already allowed himself to invite people... But I'm the only one who is "sanctioned". Of all the people who break the rules (loud music, invited guests, organised parties...) I am the only one who is punished. It is clearly a problem of discrimination on the part of this sharehouse. Also, if they had told me this information before I left or before I paid the booking fee, I could have made other arrangements. But no, at the last minute to put me in an even more uncomfortable situation. Clearly a lack of professionalism... The owner told me that he was filming us and had videos of us. No one is aware that these images are filmed and can be used against us. It would be good to warn the tenants that you are filming their actions. I would not recommend this place in any way, as they did not show any transparency, understanding or help towards me. Today I am very disappointed because the hospitality and kindness of Australians does not represent this company in any way. Very comfortable stay, everything was clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious and aircon was a lifesaver. Very lucky to have such a lovely household, made lots of new friends! Perfect location and great service! Only downside was that the hire bikes are crap.

When you travel one the most important things it’s feels settled down as soon as possible therefore the choice of place where you will live it’s the biggest question. This sharehouse has everything that I needed. It’s safe, it’s near to the city, the supermarket and the mall are just to pair of blocks but the value most significant for me it’s the environment produced for the family in charge. Everyone are too kind and always ready to help if something happens. I recommend this Sharehouse one hundred percent. It’s worth living in another country Like a Home.

We stayed as a couple for 6 weeks at Cairns Sharehouse (the penthouse). Great apartment, really is a home away from home. They provide everything you could need for your stay. Everyone in the office were really helpful and could not do enough for you. We didn’t want to leave in the end 😊

I’ve stayed in the sharehouse in Cairns for 5 months. It was so good to have your own room, the laundry facilities and a pool. It’s a good way to meet people when you are new in a place. People were always up for a night out or just to chill at the house.
