A girlfriend and I stayed in Capri by Fraser on a Friday night for a little weekend get away and what an absolute gem of place! Location is impeccable being minutes walks to Queen Street Mall, the gardens and the wharf. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for some extra space and was twice as big as I was expecting. All apartments are on Level 3, which is one floor up from the pool and gym area. Pool is amazing, sauna was fab. Check in is seamless with check in booths that provide a card for a contactless service. Or the friendly staff at the front desk. 100% put this on your list for your next stay in Brisbane :)

To celebrate our 52nd Wedding Anniversary -We stayed at the Capri by Fraser, Brisbane for 2 nights on the 9th and 10th of Feb. check in was easy at 3pm. car parking was right next door and very easy to navigate. we had a studio executive room with bathtub, on the 16th floor, bit of a view out the window which was ok.the room was very nice -clean with a small kitchenette, having a bathtub was a nice touch. There are different rooms with different views available. The lifts were quick with no waiting there were 5 lifts 2 of to the car park. The indoor heated pool was excellent /so good to use very enjoyable, there is also a sauna/ steam room /and gym. The hotel is very central to everything, no need for a car you can easily walk to Southbank /bot gardens/ river/ shops in city. We went to Qpac and it was a nice easy walk, The Black Fire restaurant is on site and very good. So, we will return and maybe try a Premier Room, they are bigger with better views. THANK You to Capri by Fraser, Brisbane for an enjoyable stay and the bottle of Brut champers!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in along time. They aren’t over priced and the rooms were clean, tidy and a great escape from the city life. The pool was heated and clean. The blue light was a great effect for that luxury feel. I will be coming back here again due to not only the great service but the location too.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights over the Xmas period, in a studio executive room. The room wasn’t as big as others on my trip but it was more than adequate. The room has a small kitchenette with a fridge, hob, kettle, coffee machine and kitchen utensils. Unfortunately the bin lid (below the kitchen sink) was badly stained and not wiped down during my stay. There was also a big sticky stain (looked like Ribena juice) where the glasses were kept. Apart from that the studio & bathroom were very clean. The gym was superb and had sufficient equipment for a good workout. The hotel’s free launderette was next to the gym which I took full advantage of. The dryer for some reason took a very long time to dry my light clothes, even though the setting was high. The hotel is located next to a construction site where they are building a new train/tube station. I didn’t notice any noise but they might have stopped working as it was Xmas. My room closely faced a residential block of flats. I had to keep my curtains drawn as it felt like your privacy was being invaded. You are minutes away from the main shopping centre where you will find absolutely everything you need. You are also within easy walking distance of the main train station which I believe takes you to the airport. It was closed during my visit for maintenance. As you turn right out of the hotel you are less than 5 minutes away from the botanical gardens which I loved. It’s a very peaceful place and I could have spent hours there. There is a restaurant on the ground floor but not run by the hotel. I didn’t try the food as I was able to buy fruit and yogurt from the supermarket nearby. This hotel is ideally located for an easy walk to the Southbank and the ferry terminals. I enjoyed my stay here but would probably choose somewhere nearer the botanical gardens away from the shopping centre. The staff at this hotel were lovely. Very friendly and approachable.

Dear AnnieC_11, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on your recent stay over the Christmas period. We're delighted to hear that you found the room adequate and enjoyed the convenience of the small kitchenette. We appreciate you bringing the cleanliness concerns to our attention, and we apologize for any oversight with the stained bin lid and glasses. We'll address this with our housekeeping team to ensure we maintain a high standard. On a positive note, we're pleased that the rest of the studio and bathroom met your expectations for cleanliness. It's fantastic to know that you had a positive experience with our gym and made use of the complimentary launderette. We apologize for any inconvenience with the dryer and will look into improving its efficiency. Regarding the construction site nearby, we're grateful for your understanding, and we hope it didn't disrupt your stay. It's heartening to hear your kind words about our staff. We strive to provide friendly and approachable service, and we're thrilled that our team contributed positively to your experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even more enjoyable stay. Best regards, AJ Front Office Manager

Subject: Request for Constructive Dialogue and Review of Incident at Capri by Fraser Brisbane Dear Fraser Hospitality Management, I am writing to address an incident at Capri by Fraser Brisbane, which resulted in a significant and distressing response from the hotel, ultimately leading to a ban from the property. This letter aims to provide a detailed account of the events, emphasizing the need for direct communication and a fair review of the situation. The incident initiated with a room service misunderstanding that began when my partner called down to reception to place an order. Contrary to our previous experiences at your establishment, where charges were typically added to the room bill for later settlement, an immediate payment was requested. Unable to provide payment details at the time, my partner was under the impression that the order was canceled. Surprisingly, the order was delivered anyway, leading to confusion. Upon delivery, my partner explained the situation and was assured by the room service staff that I could settle the charges upon my return. In an effort to preemptively address any concerns from the hotel, I made a call around 7:30 pm, explaining my temporary absence due to personal matters and assuring that I would settle any pending charges as soon as I returned. However, upon my return to the hotel in the early hours, and before our scheduled checkout, I was met with the unexpected presence of law enforcement, called in by the hotel over the unresolved room service charge. This escalation, especially considering my prior communication and immediate action to resolve the bill, seemed disproportionate and highlighted a breakdown in the hotel's internal communication and its approach to resolving guest-related issues. The decision to involve law enforcement and subsequently ban me from the property, without a prior attempt to engage in a more personal and understanding dialogue, has left me seeking a review of this matter. I believe that an open conversation with hotel management could provide an opportunity to clarify misunderstandings and explore a more balanced resolution. I respectfully request that we engage in a constructive dialogue to reconsider the incident and its aftermath. Such a discussion could lead to a better understanding on both sides and, ideally, a reconsideration of the ban, ensuring future interactions are handled with greater empathy and communication. Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to the possibility of a productive and mutually satisfactory resolution. Sincerely, Caleb Alloway Australian Actor and Music Producer

This hotel is almost 10 years old and I have stayed for 1-2 weeks about 6 times in all, all pre-covid until this latest visit. It was my favorite Brisbane hotel, and is still good, but has taken a few steps down from its best. First, there have been no updates and everything is looking tired - the carpets are dingy and the bathroom fixtures have their niggles. Most notably, room cleaning service has dropped right off. I was there for 9 days (on a daily rate, not a reduced-service weekly rate) and on several of them, the cleaners did not come at all. When they did, it was just with a bucket and a spray bottle, no vacuum or change of linens. (I had one sheet change, on day 5, but had to ask for it.) I asked twice for a new dishcloth and never got one. The pool and sauna are lovely features but the pool water is green and a bit murky. The hotel gym is still one of the best ever. The self-serve washers and dryers are another great feature but after 10 years of use they are on their last legs. There is clearly a lot of cost-cutting going on - maybe a change of owners? I have heard they plan to do some updates this year. These will be welcome, but a more impactful change would be to improve cleaning practices.

We have stayed at a few hotels but this one was the best yet. The location was so central and parking was a breeze. The staff were lovely. The best part was the room. Very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. We honestly had not a single complaint. When coming to Brisbane in the future, this is where we will be staying.
