Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The one bedroom apartment was larger than expected and had excellent kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. We found the air conditioning not quite cool enough. This hotel is in a very good location to access a variety of restaurants and cafes as well as the city.

Short walk to Gabba grounds. Two bed appartments have two seperate rooms each with their own kitchenette and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Reasonable cost for car park. Cafes and pizza at front door.

We needed somewhere to stay close to our friends wedding. This was a perfect location but we were pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the room. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights. Our plane was delayed from Sydney and Olivia made sure we were able to do an after hours check in. We were also thrilled with having a 4pm late check out offered to us for only $50! Best $50 I ever spent! Excellent hotel.

An unknown neighbour barged into our room while we were getting ready to go out for new years. Once we had got him to leave we attempted to lock the sliding door, only to find out it was even locked. Nothing could be fixed because of the time of the night. The manager only tried splitting the group and putting us in single rooms, which defeated the purpose of staying in a 2bed apartment together. Only compensation was free $15 parking. In the mean time, we had to try and wedged furniture against the door to secure it and all our personal belongings inside. Not good enough!
And to make it worse, this is a disabled room. Please explain how a disabled person is meant to feel safe in a room, where the doors don't even lock, how do they defend themselves?
Being in the lowest level, this kind of issue, is not acceptable.

Dear Simone, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay at Quest Woolloongabba. I once again extend our sincere regret at the inconvenience and distress this incident caused. We are at a loss to understand how an unknown person accessed your apartment balcony courtyard on level one. As you reported the individual then wrenched open the door breaking the door lock. Guest safety ans security is our number one ed priority and we have reviewed the security of these apartments in response to this incident. Noting our number one priority is our guest security and safety you were offered alternate accommodation (not a direct replacements as we had not two bedroom apartments bailable) which you resolved not to accept. In closing we acknowledge the incident is unacceptable at the same time believe we undertook the appropriate action to provide you with safe and secure accommodation, which you chose not to accept.

From the pictures on both the Wotif and Quest websites of our room we booked,it clearly showed a huge genourous balcony accessable from sliding doors from the bedroom. The room we got had no doors off the bedroom, and the deck outside the lounge was only fit for two people, tiny .Also where you had to sit outside was directly next to two noisey air conditioners that constantly blew hot air straight at you,not impressed at all

Horrible smell in bathroom. Smelt like sewage. Staff transport laundry trollies in lifts full of guests. One free bottle of water. For the same price and location you can get so much more value, facilities and friendly staff elsewhere.

The studio appartment was clean and very comfortable. The Furniture and connectivity provisions allowed me to work remotely while the convenient location meant I wasn't far from The Princess Alexandra Hospital where I needed to be by the side of my Mum who was unwell in ICU. There is a woolworths only a short walk away which made it very easy to cook for oneself instead of ordering take out each night.
Staff fixed any queries I had and I especially appreciated the hand written note from house keeping wishing me a comfortable stay.

Fabulous helpful friendly staff and walking distance to everything! The staff did a great job over a very difficult COVID time. Helfi gym down the road offers great facilities on a very cheap casual basis. Great rooftop garden loved the herbs but shame there is no swimming pool . Great view over the Gabba.

All was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Supermarket and coffee shops nearby. One of our booked rooms was a studio which turned out to be excellent for our daughter's wedding party to use for makeup, hair and dressing.

Perfect location for Logan Rd Woolloongabba bar precinct
We were attending friends 50th at one of the bar/restaurants and Quest was perfectly located. Great price with rewards. Apartment very clean, parking super easy and no extra charge. Automatic checking and checkout, couldn’t have been easier. Room was very clean with everything you’d need.
