Eton House is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers looking to stay somewhere quaint, quiet and close to the city. The rooms are very comfortable and the shared facilities are well-maintained. For those with a vehicle, there is also a private parking lot behind the property. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane.

Great location and great variety of room types. Also free on site secure parking. Only 5 to 10 minutes walk to Suncorp Stadium and the Caxton Street pubs and nightlife. Rooms are very comfortable. Easy location to find if driving.

This beautiful little b&b was a lovely surprise. We had booked blind and hoped for the best, but were a little worried when we discovered it was in a backpacker's area, as we considered ourselves a little 'mature' to be backpackers! However, the location was perfect, the facilities excellent - even bicycles and helmets to use. Cannot fault anything about...

A nice and charming heritage lited accommodation with cosy rooms and super friendly staff. Close to the heart of the city within easy walking distance to a lot of attractions in a nice and quiet location.

I really liked this little place, great location nice staff. Was very quiet mostly a good little place to relax and wind down for a while. My room for a single was small but nice enough for the price. Free wifi and off street parking. Would be happy to stay again.

Stayed there 2 nights with friends ( they booked ) as the price and proximity to Suncorp and the CBD , Personally I would not stay here or would I visit again as it feels like a halfway house and is quite dingy , felt we couldn't be there unless it was to sleep and use very basic amenities No...

Oh dear,I dont know whether to laugh or cry.it seems you were in the right place based on your friends priorities for proximity to suncorp and price.however it may have been better for you to be in a concrete insulated hotel room because the experience of 1880 designed and built shared housing is not for you. i am getting used...

The hostel may be heritage listed, but that does not excuse the horrible beds, pillows and the caretaker is gruff and, sometimes downright rude. They are about as flexible as a housebrick. I would never stay there again. I would rather sleep on a park bench.

Dear Kai H,It is disappointing to receive your opinion about our efforts at eton house. I personally buy the pilliows and bedding. After nearly 10 years in short term accommodation business i have found the natural latex type pillow used here to be almost universally accepted.they stay supportive better and longer than other types i have trialled. This type of...

My husband and I were quite impressed and delighted with this cute home. Very tidy and neat and perfect location. 400 meters from Suncorp stadium and a 10 minute walk to Roma Parklands. Mall across the street with Coles, shops, cinema and eateries. Stayed in room 5, a double bed and 2 bunk beds with ensuite and a fireplace. Would...

Stayed one night in February with a family of five. Beautiful historical character building. We stayed in the attic room, nice and clean plenty of room and beds. The steep stairs with no safety gate did worry us a bit. Overall though a good nights sleep at a reel actively good price in a good location.

Thankyou Des,we appreciate your feedback.we have purchased a baby gate to put across the top of the stairs to protect children from slipping if required. we are keen on more family bookings for people to have first hand experience staying in australian designed 1880 attic space.

We saw the pictures used to advertise the rooms and thought there would be plenty of room for 6 of us that we booked for, but i was wrong. Ridiculously tiny and not even the price could not justify it. Definitely not a place to stay if travelling with a few couples. The place was hot, the aircons took ages...
