For location this hotel is great. Close to train, close to King George Square and a walk to Southbank (or short taxi ride) you can't beat this hotel. I always like to stay in a hotel attached to a hotel chain, that way you are kind of guaranteed of some accountability in cleanliness. This hotel passed my cleanliness test. Bathrooms...

Dear Kerrivv, Thanks for your five star review and endorsement, that's very much appreciated. I'm very pleased to see that our hotel was up to the high standard of cleanliness that we hold ourselves to and of course to what our guests would expect. Our location as you say is very central and for that we are thankful as well...

I recently stayed two nights in a balcony room (666, but that didn't bother me), where being able to access fresh air was a welcome bonus. The downside was that due to the balcony being accessed via a sliding door, some noise crept in even though the door was closed. The balcony overlooked Roma Street, which is quite busy, and...

Located in the centre of Brisbane and close to all city facilities. Hotel has been refurbished and has come up really well. My room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It was worth paying extra for the Executive Lounge access with drinks and canapes on offer. It was a relaxing environment to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The only drawback was...

Dear ahpratt, Thanks for your lovely review of the hotel, it is very much appreciated. It's nice to hear you enjoyed the Executive lounge benefits and the refurbishment works that we have done in recent years. I'm sorry that we couldn't offer more value in our car parking and I can understand how this might spoil an otherwise pleasant stay....

Only stayed one night but was extremely happy with the Pullman. Staff were great, room was modern and although didn't look it the bed was amazingly comfortable. Only one little thing was a couple of the fixtures in the bathroom were loose.

This would be a 4* review if I had submitted on check in. The reception area, breakfast location and lobby in general look like a quality product. However, I was disappointed by the rooms themselves - especially the bathroom area. It looks like all of the investment has gone into the bits people see externally rather than the bits to...

I arrived at the hotel in a car and went to the Concierge desk, only to find that no one was there to assist us in parking our car, and the line at the front desk was very long. Again, upon checking out in the morning, we'd requested our bags to be put in the car for when we departed...

Dear suz630, Thanks for your review and you're right, there should always be someone at our concierge desk. This is something that of course is very difficult to manage at all times, especially during very busy periods, but it's something none the less that we should be striving to maintain to the best of our ability. I am sorry that...

“Ask for the Pullman tower, not the Mercure”

“Corner rooms have 180 degree views all mounted tv and a bathroom that included a bath tub/shower. The staff at this hotel were exceptional and a special thanks to housekeeping for providing extra supplies, the friendliness at reception, and on the rooftop bar (16 Anteliers) and especially Farres in the KG Bar who was delightful. As the weekend was a scorcher we didn’t venture out too much but did spend time in the pool and the air conditioned room. The pool area is under renovation but still usable. Hotel did offer to transport us to their sister property Sofitel but we declined. I have read some blogs listing the hotel rooftop bar 16 Anteliers as one of the top and emerging rooftop bars in Brisbane so I did pop in for a beer or two. Although it was hot the temperature was quite pleasant on the rooftop which offered some shade and I enjoyed the atmosphere during both daytime and nightime. There were some nice soft comfy couches to sit on. Breakfast was good with the usual offerings including an omelette chef and barrista styled coffee and chai lattes etc. Location is great and just a block away from the hub of the city in the Queen Street Mall. Museum which is free is located across the road. I will be happy to return at this hotel again and it does have some nostalgic memories as we had our honeymoon here 32 years ago when it was called the Crest Hotel. Save”
